Li Xin changed into a clean set of clothes. The heat of Hedan had its benefits; casual wear wasn't all that important. Though it felt a bit ambiguous, Li Xin didn't think much of it. He tidied up and called for a carriage to the Blue Bird Bar at 18 Cream Street.
Hedan in the evening was very beautiful. The Blue Bird Bar, of course, couldn't compare with the prime location of Ivory Bay, but it did sit near the end of the bay. The gentle sea breeze carried a hint of coolness, making Li Xin feel as if he was not on the Dao Yuan Continent, but in a coastal resort from his past life.
The Blue Bird Bar was already quite lively. The Hedan people enjoyed life and loved drinking, and whether rich or poor, they all found their place. Li Xin arrived early, tipped the waiter fifty Liras, and was given a good spot with a nice view, free from disturbances. This seemed to be the first proper invitation to a lady since coming to the Dao Yuan Continent.
