Lawrence Winters hadn't thought of that point, but was intrigued by the idea: "…That's a good idea, but I haven't seen such locks available on the market, I guess I need to consult Mr. Parker."
As she spoke, she stood in front of the lock and placed her finger on it.
The lock's monitoring system scanned Lawrence Winters's iris and fingerprint, along with 3D imaging and biometric identification, confirming her as a known living person in the database before letting them in.
As they entered the living room, they discovered there were already three people there.
Kenneth Osborne and a woman were sitting side by side on the sofa facing the entrance, heads together, looking at a widescreen laptop on the coffee table in front of them.
Another man sat with his back to the entrance, judging by his figure and the back of his head, it was probably Evan Stetford.
Lawrence Winters had already seen Evan Stetford's car outside, so she wasn't surprised to see him here.
