"...Think about it carefully, this formation must have been set by someone familiar with Miss Blythe. The purpose is her life." Lawrence Winters sighed, reaching out to pat Mrs. Blythe's shoulder, "I think maybe you should report it to the police..."
After all, they're not professionals. If someone truly intends to murder Alice Blythe without leaving traces, only the police might solve the problem.
However, Mr. Blythe slowly shook his head and said, "Report to the police? The police here have no idea what a Geomantic Formation or a Nightmare Town is. If you tell them someone's trying to murder my daughter using 'Nightmare Town', they'd probably think I have a mental illness and send me to see a psychologist."
Lawrence Winters was speechless, well, she hadn't considered that point earlier.
She asked curiously, "...So, is this why you're not contacting the police but reaching out to the Celestial Path Sect instead?"
