"Dawn, why are you back so early?"
Suddenly, a somewhat elderly woman's voice rang out.
Then, there was a fit of violent coughing.
"There weren't many people today, so I got off work early. Grandma, are you feeling any better? Hurry and eat your meal, or else it won't taste good once it gets cold."
Dawn said with a smile.
"You silly girl, why did you buy food from outside? The money spent on this meal could have bought enough groceries for us to eat for two meals."
The old woman sighed and lamented, followed by another bout of violent coughing.
Dawn hurriedly patted the old woman's back, smiling as she said:
"Isn't today your birthday, Grandma? Besides, I did well at work today, and got a bonus from the boss."
