Due to the ongoing expansion of Chixian City's urban area, a significant portion of migrants has been resettled outside the city during the past period.
After all, traffic and security issues within the city need to be considered because not all migrants are honest laborers.
As of now, there are six large migrant gathering points within the entire Chixian City area:
Three outside the city, three within the city—the three within the city are the original migrant gathering points, such as East City Fish Tail Lane where Zhao Qianju's family resides, and the migrants in this area generally have stable jobs and detailed records.
The slow pace of Chixian City's expansion was initially due to the need for transporting materials like cement locally, whereas previously, the Light Gate's passage capacity was mainly used for military supplies for the Battle of Xiaolianzi Mountain.
Therefore, after a month, only less than one-tenth of the urban expansion project has been completed.
