In front of me is a cluster of low houses.
These houses are quite common in Mexico, but to outsiders, they seem very unique.
The primary color is earthy yellow, yet some have distinct European architectural details.
Some feature religious elements, like holy icons.
Others have patterns that might be related to certain families.
However, some of these houses are in pretty bad shape.
They are essentially makeshift homes, appearing as if they were built with metal sheets.
You must know, the climate in Mexico is extremely hot.
Metal sheets are really unsuitable for building houses.
It would be terribly hot inside.
And those with European styles are obviously old houses.
Very old ones, possibly over a hundred years old or more.
The combination of these two strange types of houses fully illustrates.
This is a slum area.
In any slum around the world, crime thrives, or it's home to outlaws... unlike Zhang San, who has some legal knowledge.
