The cool night air swept in, carrying her scent—lavender and ink, sharp and familiar, mingling with the faint musk still lingering from earlier.

Olivia leaned closer, her light brown hair tousled from the climb, loose waves framing her face, her cheeks lightly flushed from the chill or exertion.

Her hazel eyes, sharp and unreadable, glinted in the lantern light, her slender frame perched on the narrow ledge outside, charcoal-gray pants clinging to her hips, her blouse slightly rumpled but still accentuating her subtle curves.

She stared past him, her gaze locking onto Nellie, who stood frozen near the bed, her petite frame dwarfed by the room's intimacy, her thick thighs pressing together under her tight pants, lilac panties peeking faintly at the waistband.

"What's Nellie doing here?" Olivia asked, her voice flat and cutting, each word a blade slicing through the tension, her eyes narrowing as they raked over Nellie's flushed cheeks and fidgeting hands.
