The second day's match didn't hold many surprises for Shen Sui.
The remaining two competitors in his group, although they were fairly strong seventh-level Life Card Masters, couldn't gain any advantage against Shen Sui. Even when Shen Sui was momentarily stuck with a bad hand, they still couldn't defeat him.
Thus, Shen Sui ended up with three wins out of three matches, advancing to the knockout stage as the group leader.
The true surprise, however, was Wang Hongjing.
Whether his spirit was shattered by Shen Sui or simply due to bad luck, in today's match, he almost lost to a Life Card Master he'd never lost to before. Although he barely managed to win in the end, he still ended up with a 1-1 sudden death situation.
If he lost this duel, it would mean saying goodbye to the Huashan Invitational stage.
Shen Sui finished his match and cheerfully squatted in the lounge to watch the excitement.
