Staring into the girl's bright black eyes, filled with sincerity, Bao Ye put down his chopsticks with a dark look in his eyes. He spoke in a steady and powerful voice, laughing, "How about tying that rope to keep you by my side from now on?"
Jiang Ruan didn't react at first. "Huh?"
"Why?"
Bao Ye said flatly, "To prevent anything from happening to you when I don't see you for a while."

Bao Ye furrowed his brows, recalling what happened that evening. His mood was clearly off; tonight he happened to be there, but what if he wasn't?
"This time was just an accident. Who knew some idiot would act like I dug up their ancestors' graves and pour detergent on the steps," Jiang Ruan complained. Seeing the man's unpleasant expression, she continued, "Once we find out, I certainly won't let it go so easily."
Bao Ye raised an eyebrow, his interest piqued, "What do you plan to do?"
