Bao Ye lowered his gaze to her, "Is it because I'm still alive?"
Under the dim yellow light, the two of them looked at each other with deep affection, their eyes lingering.
Jiang Ruan replied, "Yes."

Jiang Ruan sniffled, earnestly, "Luckily, you're okay."
Bao Ye's Adam's apple moved as he tightened his hold on her waist.
"The sky won't fall."
"Even if someone else's sky falls, yours won't."
Bao Ye used to not care about life or death; dying was even something easy for him.
But now, he wanted to live a little longer.
Jiang Ruan was amused by his words, "Why do you seem different from before today?"
