Valentina suddenly sprang up in Herbert's bewildered gaze, first hitting her head on the ceiling, and then quickly retreating to the corner of the room in a panic after landing back on the ground.

She stared wide-eyed at Herbert, glancing at the ring from time to time, and asked in a panic, "You, you, you! What are you doing all of a sudden?"
Herbert was taken aback by Valentina's smooth little combo of moves, not expecting such a big reaction from her.
Huh?
That's strange.
"You actually know what it means?"
Herbert looked curiously at Miss Hungry Dragon, not expecting that this illiterate would actually know the proper use of a ring.

Valentina snorted, trying to appear calm, and said, "Don't think I don't know anything. Wendy taught me!"
