After sitting on the bench for just a short while, Sheng Jiayu saw Mu Ke walking out of the emergency room. A soothing smile appeared on the man's handsome face: "It's okay now, want to go in and take a look?"
Sheng Jiayu nodded and followed Mu Ke inside.
Xu Qingru looked a bit unwell, but it was clear there was no major issue. Sheng Jiayu sat beside her bed, her tone both caring and reproachful: "Mom, why are you so careless? Tomorrow I'll have someone replace all the tiles in the bathroom with non-slip ones."
Xu Qingru smiled: "You child, why are you so nervous? I'm fine now, aren't I?"
"Your foot is so swollen, and you say it's nothing? Do you still think you're as young and limitless as before?"
Xu Qingru looked at Sheng Jiayu, then at Mu Ke, her eyes holding a bit of relief, but she didn't say anything, only looked at Mu Ke and asked: "Little Mu, do I need to be hospitalized?"
