Sheng Jianan's office had a new carpet that had been changed at some unknown time, making it so quiet and soft that no sound could be heard when stepping on it.
Tang Yanqi slowly walked to the edge of the desk and put down the coffee cup.
She then heard the man with his head lowered speak, "Have the finance department send up the latest reports."
Tang Yanqi didn't move, instead reaching out to take the cigarette from the man's fingers, which caused Sheng Jianan to move and look up.
There was some impatience in his eyes, but when he clearly saw who was standing in front of him, the impatience turned to astonishment. In the next moment, Sheng Jianan quickly extinguished the cigarette in his own hand and stood up promptly, pulling Tang Yanqi to the side.
His hand occasionally waved in the air, as if trying to dissipate the smoke smell.
