Tang Yanqi's steps were somewhat unsteady, she walked quickly along the winding corridor outside, head down. She wasn't afraid someone might chase after her; she just didn't like this place, really didn't like it.
Not watching her path, Tang Yanqi collided harshly with someone, her bag flew out of her hand and with a "splash," fell into the adjacent fountain.
"Sister-in-law?"
Tang Yanqi hadn't yet recovered her senses when she heard a not-so-unfamiliar voice beside her. Zhou Chengze had drunk some alcohol and was hurriedly preparing to go to the bathroom; with the liquor kicking in, he hadn't watched his path either. He hadn't expected to collide with someone, and just as Young Master Zhou was about to explode in anger, he froze when he saw it was Tang Yanqi.
"Sister-in-law, why are you here?"
Zhou Chengze's gaze fell on Tang Yanqi, and he suddenly realized she seemed to be completely disheveled, with injuries on her forehead and wrist, and a bruise at the corner of her mouth.
