Lucy smiled from the bottom of her heart, "Can you help me up? I can't stand on my own."
Elliot Gill held her arm and helped her onto the sofa. Her legs were both numb and aching from kneeling for so long.
His hand rested on her knee to help massage it, "You've got some spirit, kneeling for so long."
"I just want to keep this child."
"I can let you have the baby, but you know I like to negotiate terms."
"Say it."
"I want to be the child's father, to assume the role of the child's biological dad."
Lucy Eaton frowned, feeling resistant, "But the child already has a biological father."
"Do you think I don't know that? You don't need to point it out to me specifically." Elliot Gill raised an eyebrow, "For the past five years you've been my girlfriend. Does it make sense for your child not to call me dad?"
"Can't you just be the godfather?"
