Flora already knew that Lucy Eaton had confronted Arthur Bennett head-on in order to save her father.
"My second brother was very close to Jacob Green when he was alive. I heard about it from him." Flora wouldn't admit it, "If you want to verify whether it's true, you can wait until you die and ask my second brother underground."
Arthur Bennett recalled his father's words and forcibly restrained his impulse to hit her.
"Flora, let me tell you, even if you die, your tombstone will bear the inscription 'Wife of Arthur Bennett'. Not to mention you are alive. It's absolutely impossible for us to divorce, so no matter how dissatisfied you are with me, you need to understand you're my wife, and you should put yourself in my shoes."
His words made Flora feel utterly disgusted. Why would she care for a husband who might kill her?
"Have you cut off ties with Stellan Quinn?"
