"Grandma is asking, are you and her planning to have kids?"
"Why this sudden question?"
"Just answer me."
"Not planning to for now."
Grandma Green nodded, "It's right not to want them yet, we can talk about this a few years later, you're still young."
Lily's mother didn't understand her mother-in-law's thoughts, "Weren't you the one who wanted great-grandchildren the most?"
"Now I feel the youngest is still very young, it's fine to have grandchildren a few years later."
"I know exactly what Grandma is trying to say." Jacob Green spoke upfront, "Lucy is my wife for a day and a lifetime. I want children, but Lucy doesn't for now. If she wants, we can have them anytime, plus I hope our first child is a daughter."
"In a few years, you'll realize that Lucy Eaton is no different from most women, and you'd know how happy you'd be with a cultured young lady as a wife."
