Sean seemed to have heard some extraordinary joke and laughed exaggeratedly: "Chinese Doll, you don't have the ability, nor the courage. I'm a university police officer, trained with the same capabilities and qualifications as the police department officers, not some amateur security guard from your Chinese university."
Just then, there was a knock on the door.
Shi Nian turned back to look, and through the glass on the door, she saw Spicy Girl standing at the entrance.
Sean froze as well, allowing Shi Nian to seize the opportunity to get up and open the door. Sean wanted to stop her but it was too late. He was evidently slightly apprehensive of Spicy Girl, so he had no choice but to sit and endure.
Spicy Girl stepped in, first glanced at Shi Nian, then at Sean, with a somewhat displeased look on her face: "Why are you guys together? I saw you laughing from behind the glass. What's so funny, that you're so happy?"
"Why stop laughing just because I came in? Keep laughing!"
