Gu Yi got a late start on marinating the fish.
There wasn't enough time to cook the meat, so Gu Yi decided to braise the fish and stir-fry some shredded potatoes.
Even though Ye Hao knew Gu Yi was back, he was still especially happy to see her when he got home.
"Hurry and wash your hands, it's time to eat."
Gu Yi placed the fish on the table, smiled, and said this when she saw Ye Hao return.
After saying that, Gu Yi turned around and went back into the kitchen to stir-fry the potatoes.
Ye Hao finished washing his hands and went into the kitchen.
"Are you hungry?"
Gu Yi asked as Ye Hao walked in.
"I'm okay. Do you need any help?"
"There's nothing to help with. You can go rest outside."
Before Gu Yi finished speaking, Ye Hao hugged her from behind.
"Is everything at the store taken care of?"
"For now, this is the best we can do; we'll see as we go."
Gu Yi thought about how, not being there, she didn't know how things were going at the store.
