Inside, Samuel Gren and Alexander Thornecroft sat on the sofa chatting about something, Anna Green sat on the side, occasionally laughing and interjecting a few words. The atmosphere was very pleasant.
Meanwhile, Francesca Willis was busy in the kitchen.
Upon seeing Bella Green enter, Samuel Gren instantly stood up with a smile, leaving Alexander and welcoming her.
"Bella's back. Today your mom made your favorite dishes."
Even with Alexander around, Samuel still ignored Anna Green, making her face somewhat unable to hold, her smile was incredibly stiff.
Alexander Thornecroft raised his hand, comforting her by gently patting her on the back of her hand a few times.
Anna Green looked up, her face full of grievance and endurance.
"Dad seems to like my sister a bit more."
Hearing this, Alexander Thornecroft gently dropped a kiss on her forehead, "Isn't it enough that I only like you?"
These words, spoken neither loudly nor softly, were loud enough for Bella Green to hear.
