Mr. Shen was initially in a good mood, but after Old Madam Shen's words, he threw down his chopsticks.
With a clatter, the chopsticks even bounced from the table to the floor.
"If we're talking about favoritism, am I not more partial to the second family?" Mr. Shen slammed his hand on the table.
"If I weren't biased, could the second family still be sitting comfortably in the company? If I weren't biased, they should be in jail!"
In a fit of rage, Mr. Shen swung his hand and slapped his wife across the face.
"It's been half a year. Just because I haven't spoken does not mean I am senile and know nothing! The ones least qualified to say I'm biased are the second family's three plus you, you venomous woman!"
Mr. Shen took deep breaths, "Don't mention a billion-dollar house; if you find even this house unacceptable, perhaps you should go back to the countryside for some peace and quiet!"
The implication in Mr. Shen's words was that this house is just the beginning.
