After taking the car to the hospital, Dr. Meng found the ward where Eva Nightingale was staying.
It was already evening. In the room, only Lucas Knight and Eva Nightingale were left; Carla Carr had already gone back, because Eva Nightingale had said she wanted him to sleep with her tonight.
"Mr. President, I'm here."
Dr. Meng knocked on the door with a stern, scrutinizing look, then walked in and greeted Eva Nightingale: "Young Madam."
"Here's the thing, Young Madam, I'll run some tests for you to see how bad the head injury is…"
"Mm." Eva Nightingale nodded.
Lucas Knight, at the side, didn't say anything.
Dr. Meng examined her for a while, then left.
Eva Nightingale didn't know the results and didn't ask. It was late at night and she was a little sleepy, but Lucas Knight still wouldn't get in bed, sitting on the sofa nearby.
This was a VIP room—the bed was huge, equipped with a sofa, television, and a whole set of luxury amenities.
