Chapter 116 - Mustering up courage, Zhu Zhuqing's confession

Gu Yuena stared silently at Ma Hongjun, her deep purple eyes fixed on him without a word.

A hint of embarrassment appeared on Ma Hongjun's face. Just as he was about to rise from the bed, a slender, graceful leg stepped into view.

Gu Yuena stood before him, looking down.

Ma Hongjun instinctively looked up, meeting her deep and enigmatic gaze.

His Adam's apple bobbed, and a subtle heat began to rise in his eyes.

There was no denying it—Gu Yuena had a breathtaking figure. Standing so close, she exuded a unique and powerful allure.

Just as Ma Hongjun reached out to touch her, her hand swiftly blocked him.

He froze. Before he could react, she placed an arm around his shoulder.

A sudden force pulled him back, and the two of them collapsed heavily onto the bed.

The silver-haired girl now straddled him, silent still, her fingers dancing quickly across his body.

Ma Hongjun hadn't expected this enthusiasm from her—tonight, she didn't even require him to make a move.

They quickly became bare and open with each other. Her skin, white as snow, only made the fire in his eyes burn hotter.

His breath quickened as he stared at the beauty before him.

Gu Yuena remained unmoved by his emotions. Her gaze slowly traveled down his body, pausing at a certain place. Then, she reached out.

Ma Hongjun felt a wave of intense pleasure and instinctively arched his back.

Her other hand pressed firmly on his chest, stopping him from moving.

He noticed how strange she seemed tonight—completely in control and refusing to let him take the lead.

He said nothing until the moment she stood and left.

With a hint of satisfaction, Gu Yuena walked out of the room lightly. Her eyes flicked briefly to a certain spot before quickly turning away.

Ma Hongjun watched her go, confused by her strange behavior.

Summoning phoenix flames, he cleansed himself. Exhausted, he lay back on the bed.

He didn't give much thought to Gu Yuena's unusual behavior and instead turned his attention to cultivating his spiritual power.

Outside, the moonlight bathed the world in a soft, silvery glow. The night breeze flowed through the window, bringing a refreshing coolness.

While he was deep in thought, a shadowy figure climbed nimbly through the window.

His body recognized the person faster than his brain. By the time he became aware, his guard had already dropped.

"Ah, it's you, Xiao Wu."

Ma Hongjun turned to see the girl with scorpion braids standing there, a look of grievance in her eyes.

"Brother Hongjun, how long has it been since you were with me? I thought it was just the two of us, but I didn't expect..."

As she spoke, she bit her lip hard.

She had come to find him, but as she got closer, she heard the unmistakable sounds coming from his room.

She had wanted to see who was inside, but the room was sealed with a barrier.

Helpless, she could only wait outside.

She had imagined many possibilities, but never expected the one to emerge from his room to be Gu Yuena.

Gu Yuena, who always seemed indifferent to everything, actually had feelings for Brother Hongjun?

Realizing the truth, Xiao Wu felt a dull ache in her heart.

Ma Hongjun hadn't expected the girl to witness that and felt a little awkward.

"Gu Yuena is injured. She needs healing every seven days," he explained casually.

Xiao Wu's eyes brightened instantly.

"So what you're saying is... you're only with Gu Yuena to treat her injuries, right?"

Her voice was soft and sweet, laced with barely concealed joy. Ma Hongjun wasn't sure why she seemed so happy, but since what she said was technically true, he simply nodded.

Getting a clear answer, Xiao Wu grinned and threw herself into his arms.

So it's true—I'm the only one who's special.

With that thought, she buried her face in his chest and rubbed against him gently.

When she lifted her eyes again, they had softened.

She undressed swiftly, pulling off the clothes Ma Hongjun had just put on.

As he let out a muffled groan, the girl with scorpion braids took charge.

Unlike Gu Yuena's restraint, Xiao Wu was fiery and wild. Her incredibly flexible waist wrapped tightly around him.

Soon, the room was once again filled with breathless gasps and soft moans.

Though she started out dominant, Xiao Wu was soon overwhelmed by the red-haired boy's fierce counterattack and begged for mercy.

The clouds drifted across the moon, as if blushing and hiding its face.

Xiao Wu felt her whole body go limp. She quickly got up and slowly began to dress.

Her gaze fell on the red-haired boy's handsome, peaceful face, and her eyes overflowed with affection.

He understands me. I'll love him forever—until the end of my life.

Satisfied, Xiao Wu leapt out the window and disappeared into the night.

Ma Hongjun was once again left alone, staring at the now-silent room.

"Why do those two always come one after the other?"

He climbed out of bed and slowly began getting dressed again.

His thoughts drifted to that day by Duguyan Lake. Back then, those two had teamed up and nearly drained him dry.

As he stretched his back, a series of urgent knocks came from the door.

A puzzled look crossed his face.

It's so late—who could be visiting now?

Still confused, Ma Hongjun quickly went to open the door.

The corridor was dark, but the light from his room spilled out, illuminating the figure outside.

A tight black outfit hugged the visitor's curves, emphasizing her full, alluring figure.

Zhu Zhuqing slowly withdrew her trembling hand, summoning all her courage to meet Ma Hongjun's gaze.

She had wrestled with her thoughts for a long time. Ning Rongrong had been right—hesitation only leads to regret. When you want something, you must act decisively.

And so, she finally chose to come to Brother Hongjun.

Luckily, he was still awake, and she hadn't had to knock more than twice.

That saved her from exhausting her already limited supply of courage.

Zhu Zhuqing noticed the astonishment in Ma Hongjun's eyes, and her heart finally eased.

She took a deep breath to steady herself.

Her hands clenched into fists, and her usually cold expression softened into a shy one.

"Brother Hongjun, I like you. Will you accept me?"

She tried her best to keep her voice steady, though it still quivered slightly.

But her trembling figure already betrayed the storm within her heart.

Ma Hongjun couldn't help but smile. He hadn't expected Zhu Zhuqing to come to him like this—it was a pleasant surprise.

He knew her personality. For her to do this, she must have mustered all the courage she had.
