Enchantress said,"We will meet again warrior. Think about my proposal till then."
She took out a paper with runes on it. Kakashi knew that he could not let her get away just like that. With the Kunai in his hand, he body flickered and appeared right next to the woman and slashed with his Kunai.
To his surprise, the man despite one of his hands having disappeared to another dimension with Kunai took the hit himself. His chest had a big slash wound from the Kunai.
The woman activated a teleportation talisman and disappeared along with the injured Skurge.
Kakashi analyzd the phenomenon. 'A space-time talisman, huh? She must be a pretty skilled mage to make one or have good connections to aquire one.'
He turned to Thor, who stood gripping Mjolnir, "Who were they?" Kakashi asked straightaway without any fanfare.
Thor answered obediently. "The man, his name is Skurge… the Executioner. He is an Asgardian by birth but also a half Storm Giant. His strength surpasses the mightiest of warriors due to his giant bloodline."
His mind flashed to Skurge's past,"He was once a proud warrior of Asgard—strong, loyal, and brave—but too easily tempted by the call of power. He earned his title, 'The Executioner,' not from cruelty, but from countless victories on the battlefield. When enemies of Asgard were sentenced to death, it was Skurge who carried out the will of the throne, his axe striking with the certainty of judgment itself. None who faced him ever rose again."
Thor's thoughts darkened. "He wields an enchanted axe, forged in the heart of Niflheim, one that could cut through anything—even the strongest magical armor. A formidable warrior, unmatched in close combat. He was relieved from his duty when he executed criminals without Father's permission. He had disappeared from Asgard for some time, and now we know where he went or rather, who he was with."
Thor continued,"The woman, Amora, was born in Asgard and, as a teenager, apprenticed herself to my mother. Mother realized her talent and wanted Loki to have someone to keep him company in his lessons so she agreed to teach her too."
"Loki did not have many friends growing up and did not like meeting people, so Mother thought to force a friend on him."
Thor's tone grew grim. "Mother expelled her for her undisciplined nature and use of unauthorized magic. She quietly left the scene, but later we found out that Amora continued her magical education by seducing other Asgardian wizards and learning their secrets. But since she did not kill anyone, Mother decided not to brand her as a criminal, but it seems that is no longer an option."
Kakashi's eye narrowed, "From her words, it looked like even you were romantically involved with that woman."
Thor's face flushed embarrassedly. "Well, she managed to seduce both… me and my brother. She pitted us against each other and made both of us get her gifts to claim her love. I managed to steal her a wand from the armory while Loki stole some spells from Mother's collection to give to her… To our defense, we were young, and we had not bedded anyone." His voice was sheepish, his thoughts cringing at the memory of him and Loki bickering over Amora, each presenting her with increasingly ridiculous gifts.
Kakashi was amused, 'This would make a good plot for a romantic novel. But this woman is quite dangerous. With charm and mind magic and a scheming mind like hers, she might become a problem. From the look of things, she has this Skurge guy under her wraps. He took a lethal wound for her and calls her a mistress. Why would he call someone mistress who was not a noble of Asgard if he was not serving her and was charmed by her?'
'And here I thought my problems were limited to SHIELD and Earth.' Kakashi sighed.
Thor's expression shifted to guilty, "This should not have happened, to just attack you in the palace gardens. But our security has taken a hit after Loki's schemes with the Frost Giants. If Father was not in his Odinsleep or Mother was not tending to him, Amora would not have dared to attack you on Asgardian palace grounds."
"We are sorry for the lapse in security. You are our guest, and we should have ensured it. I will inform my mother about Enchantress's transgressions." He bowed.
Kakashi accepted the apology but shook his head "Let a soldier do it. Let's complete your training. I have limited time, and it's not like Amora and the Executioner guy would come again." His voice was casual.
Thor's thoughts were skeptical, 'Yeah, like hell they would come. You just destroyed the arm of one of the greatest warriors Asgard has seen with a look. But I should still warn him.'
"You should be careful, Midgardian. Amora is known for her possessiveness and selfishness. She would try to have you by any means."
Kakashi's voice was cool, "A shinobi is always careful, Thor. Now show me how much you've progressed with controlling your energy and wrinkling leaves instead of burning them outright."
