Chapter 499 - Chapter 499 - Vol. 7 - Chapter 52: "O' Child, Abide the Laws of Creation"

Having previously swallowed Shiomi with her Noble Phantasm, Sessyoin hadn't erased his existence immediately. She needed that power.

This time, she would act with more caution.

As "Tranquil Stagnation of Myriad Lusts" interfered with Shiomi's mind, she activated her Noble Phantasm.

"Heaven's Hole!"

Having experienced being swallowed once, Shiomi was well aware of its true nature.

It was a conceptual space everyone possessed—used to discard the worthless and the useless.

With this Noble Phantasm, Sessyoin had become a literal "hole" within reality, aiming to merge with the planet and become the vessel for all the evil information generated by humanity's seven billion souls.

In a way, it was salvation for mankind. But at the same time, it meant devouring them all.

"Deliver to me the pain and suffering of all living creatures. I am the only human being in all the world, I alone am this world itself... Let this become the foundation of nirvana."

As that voice echoed, Sessyoin herself vanished, leaving only endless darkness—and the Demon Pillars lurking within.

The shift between inside and outside occurred in an instant.

"Last time, I hesitated. This time, I'll crush you from the inside."

Shiomi lowered his hand.

He was starting to adapt to the mental interference of "Tranquil Stagnation of Myriad Lusts."

His mind was linked to his mother's. Sessyoin could never fully erode it—doing so would mean eroding the spirit of the Goddess Tiamat as well.

The moment she touched Tiamat's essence, Sessyoin would be hit with a mental backlash from "Tranquil Stagnation of Myriad Lusts."

Of course, even if complete erosion was impossible, the mental pressure and pain it brought Shiomi were immense.

The Chaos Tide continued to pour forth from Imaginary Numbers space, surging up from beneath Shiomi's feet. No matter where he stood, Tiamat would sense him and keep sending it forth.

"Know the limits of life. Right now, your mother is angry—for her child."

Shiomi couldn't help but smile.

"She is the wave of creation, the crust of the primordial earth. Even if only for a moment, this is my mother's true will!"

Sensing something was wrong, Sessyoin invoked the True Name of her Noble Phantasm.

"Sukhāvatī: Heaven's Hole!"

At that moment, Shiomi's voice was replaced by a foreign one—emerging from the massive dragon spirit origin that rose slowly from the Chaos Tide.

"Let's go, my child! Nammu Duranki: O' Child, Abide the Laws of Creation!'"

As Sessyoin's Noble Phantasm closed the internal universe, the power of the Primordial Mother ravaged her from within—merciless and overwhelming.

But it wouldn't last forever. Such a Noble Phantasm couldn't be maintained indefinitely.

So long as Shiomi remained trapped inside, victory was within her grasp.

Sessyoin was sure of it. She focused entirely on suppressing the turmoil within her, knowing the moment the Noble Phantasm ended, the tide would turn in her favor.

"So, how long will it last?" BB's voice rang out again.

Sessyoin flinched. She had forgotten that this AI from Mooncell hadn't joined the battlefield directly—she was lurking in the background, quietly sabotaging Sessyoin's "Black Thread of Skandha."

"BB..." Sessyoin muttered, sensing things were going wrong.

"The correct answer is—until everything inside Miss Kiara Sessyoin is thoroughly destroyed," BB replied cheerfully. "If it were just Daddy and the Goddess Tiamat, the Noble Phantasm wouldn't hold up for long. But with the power of BB, the almighty superior AI, it's not impossible!"

Corrosion and destruction.

The Primordial Mother's power could reshape an entire planet into her own ecological system.

[If it's just a universe, I could probably manage it, if I really try.]

That's what Tiamat told Shiomi.

Driven by her craving for the agony and ecstasy of being killed by heroes, Sessyoin had crafted SE.RA.PH as her stage—for the sake of one "human," to ascend into a catastrophic existence that threatened all of humanity.

"I don't understand. Why... why?"

As her body began to collapse from within, Sessyoin finally felt something she had never truly known before.

Fear.

Even when faced with the hatred of her followers, she had smiled and accepted it.

But now, she was gripped by a feeling foreign to her even in her human days.

No... maybe not entirely foreign.

Back when she was still a saint—a healer who cared deeply for the safety of everyone in Seraphix—she had once feared the transformation and corruption brought by Demon God Zepar. Feared that she would no longer be herself.

So she had felt this once before, hadn't she?

"Why... You're a Beast too—just like me. Why go this far for a human?"

She could see the dragon's Spirit Origin tearing her apart from within.

Sessyoin directed her question to Tiamat.

[Give her a proper lecture—for Mother.]

Unable to communicate directly, Tiamat left the answer to Shiomi.

"The evil of humanity is also part of human love. You, who see only yourself as human and love no one but yourself, could never understand that," Shiomi answered in her place. "Mother loves every human being in this world equally. How could she just sit back and let you destroy it? That would make her choice meaningless!"

[Well... there is, just a little, a bit of favoritism.]

Tiamat then added to Shiomi.

"To love all of humanity? That's your reason...? A being like a Mother—whether god or human—is utterly irrational..."

Sessyoin felt her consciousness slipping away.

She was a Beast who had emerged without proper preparation.

But even if everything had gone according to plan, Tiamat would likely have interfered even more directly than she had now.

"Ah... ah, ahhh, aaahhhhhhh! It hurts! It hurts! My body—it's falling apart! It's breaking down... from the inside, bit by bit!"

Life and death cycled in an instant.

The Chaos Tide devoured her body, yet simultaneously gave it life.

Her Noble Phantasm was being steadily unraveled.

Pleasure surged past the threshold Sessyoin could endure.

"I can't take it! Someone—save me! Stop—no—don't stop! Ah, no—noooo—ahhhhhhhhh! Let me do it over! I want to start over! Because—because I haven't had enough yet!"

Trapped between ecstasy and agony, Sessyoin's screams rang out, endless and raw.

As her body collapsed, SE.RA.PH—long since fused with her—crumbled along with her.

The defeated Demon Pillars could no longer regenerate.

Light engulfed everything.
