Kaito rose again, a mysterious smile still gracing Miral's lips. But it wasn't a comforting smile, more like the smile of someone who sees what others can't.
As soon as Taiko saw his son firmly on his feet, a fleeting reassurance spread across his features, but he didn't allow himself to relax. He turned directly toward his opponent, Kira, as the battle between them raged once more.
Taiko charged forward, his iron gloves striking the ground with a terrifying thud that echoed throughout the shrine. In an instant, he was right in front of Kira, a lightning strike nearly crushing his face, but a metallic flash blocked its path a metallic soul slit erupting from Kira's body, powerfully deflecting the attack.
Kira smiled sharply and said,
"Although I loved you, Taiko... I must end this. I must return to my dear sister."
Tycho replied, his voice low but full of power:
"And I, like you, will not retreat until the end."
At that moment, four glowing blades sprang from Kira's back, two by his shoulders and two extending behind his back. They moved fluidly, like extra limbs. Each blade made an ear-piercing metallic screeching sound, as if screaming with bloodlust.
The fight began.
Kira sent his blades at breakneck speed toward Tycho's body, cutting through the air like death dart arrows. But Tycho moved with unexpected agility for his massive frame. As the blades drew closer, they shattered against the edges of his iron gauntlets, sparks flying in every direction.
Kira shouted, "Don't you fall, you stubborn bastard!"
Tycho replied with a sharp grin, "I'll take you down first!"
Kira leaped high and sent a full barrage of blades toward Tycho from all directions, a deadly wave of metal. For a moment, it seemed as if the breach was inevitable. But Taiko disappeared from his position, and in less than the blink of an eye, he appeared behind Kira, his hand ready to slash at his body.
But Kira was no easy opponent. He parried the attack with his blades before it could land on his back, and sparks exploded between them like a storm of fire and iron.
The battle was no longer just an exchange of blows… but a struggle between two equal forces, each seeking to prove its worthiness of survival.
Kira stood, his eyes gleaming with deadly intensity, displaying two dark blades in his hands, cold sparks dancing around them. His voice was a mixture of arrogance and hostility.
He lunged madly at his opponent, the air exploding behind him from the sheer speed. But Taiko dodged him with a swift step, and their hands collided in a shock that reverberated throughout the area. Sparks flew, and the ground beneath their feet cracked from the force of the collision.
Taiko was trying to close the distance between him and Kira, knowing that if he got closer, he would have the advantage. Meanwhile, Kira was deceiving his opponent with the magic tricks embedded in his blades, tipping the scales at any moment.
But suddenly, just as Kira lowered his guard for a moment, Taiko had grabbed his head with both his iron-gloved hands. Then everything changed...
The gloves began to extend until they reached his shoulders, emitting strange patterns that radiated a frightening aura, a terrifying form as if a dark entity had awakened within him.
At that moment, Kaito's voice came from afar, blending with the bloody grin that split his face:
"It's time for you to die..."
Taiko rushed forward at a furious speed, grabbing Kira's head, slamming it violently against the ground and walls, tearing it apart as if it were a puppet in his hands. He then flung him high into the sky, and before he touched the ground, Taiko followed him with a lightning bolt, and with a single sharp punch, he severed his arms.
Kira's scream pierced the air, but it didn't last long...
Taiko pounced on him, digging his fist into his chest, ripping out his heart with an unforgettable thud, before crushing it mercilessly between his fingers.
Kira's body fell lifeless, as silence filled the entire space.
Taiko slowly raised his head and turned to the others, but his eyes didn't stop at anyone... Instead, they settled on Miral.
Miral stood calmly, holding the bound Hana in her arms, a mysterious smile on her lips.
