Chapter 9 - Chapter 9: Rokuya's Bloodbound Vassals The Crimson Pact!

TN: The intimate transformation sequence has been omitted by the author due to platform restrictions.

Deep within Impel Down, danger lurks at every turn.

Because of that, Rokuya had no choice but to act fast.

If this had happened outside, he might have taken his time — from dusk till dawn. But in here?

Speed meant survival.

Several minutes later...

Rokuya stood tall, restored to a level of vitality he hadn't felt in years.

His earlier resurrection had certainly given him life, but without using his blood-drinking ability, his energy reserves had remained half-full.

Now, after drinking the blood of two virgins, he was fully recharged.

And the taste?

Exquisite.

A subtle yet powerful energy coursed through him. His strength, agility and perception were all enhanced.

'Master!'

Sadi and Domino knelt on one knee in front of him, their voices soft and reverent.

Having accepted the First Embrace, they had officially become members of the Blood Clan.

No longer just enemies. No longer just women.

They were now bloodbound vassals, loyal and forever tethered to their creator.

A barely visible thread connected them to Rokuya — a Crimson Pact of master and kin.

As the successor of Arukādo, the Vampire King, Rokuya naturally held supreme dominance over their bloodline.

Their will was his command.

'Welcome to the family,' Rokuya said calmly.

He was pleased.

Two perfect new additions — each fierce, beautiful and now ageless.

Clad in skin-tight prison uniforms that accentuated their figures, the transformation had enhanced them in every way.

They weren't just loyal.

They were eternal.

'From this moment on, your bodies will no longer age. Your physical strength, healing ability and resistance will improve drastically."

'Though your sense of taste may dull, that's a small price to pay.'

There were always trade-offs.

But in return, they had gained a near-immortal physique and far greater power than any normal human.

The longer they remained in the bloodline, the more they would evolve.

"Let's move."

Rokuya glanced behind him. His blood sense told him that the guards were already closing in.

There was no point in staying.

He had already broken out.

He had already turned two powerful women into vampire vassals.

Lingering any longer would only invite trouble, especially if the Marines or the World Government found out.

Although Impel Down was in the Calm Belt, thanks to the Gate of Justice, reinforcements could arrive in minutes.

Rokuya took the lead.

Domino and Sadi followed on either side, one step behind.

Minutes later…

They reached the outer dock, the only harbour connected to Impel Down.

Above them, a blood moon loomed large and heavy in the night sky.

It was the first full moon Rokuya had seen since his kingdom fell.

His gaze turned cold.

'Imu... Gorosei...'

"Your favourite little hunting game..."

"is about to turn around."

He looked up at the blood moon and muttered:

'When the predator steps out of the cage, the gods will bleed.'

Now that he had escaped...

Now that he had vassals...

Rokuya already knew his next move.

He needed a base. A place to replenish his energy. A dark sanctuary from which to expand the Blood Clan.

Five minutes later—

— he had commandeered a Marine warship.

It had been patrolling near the prison, unaware that its fate was sealed the moment it encountered Rokuya the Reborn.

With just a glance and a whisper, he used his vampire charm to seize control.

The ship was his. He didn't even need to steer it himself.

And so it sailed towards its destination, swift and silent.

The jailbreak was over.

But for the World Government, a new nightmare had begun.

Marineford — Marine HQ

It was 4:30 a.m.

The offices were fully lit. No one was sleeping tonight.

Fleet Admiral Sengoku stood at the centre of the command floor, his eyes heavy and his jaw tight.

News of the escape had arrived.

And it wasn't just any escape.

This was the first escape in history from Magellan, the Warden of Impel Down.

That alone was enough to trigger every alarm.

The prison was considered inescapable: hidden in the Calm Belt and surrounded by sea kings, it was layered with security.

Once you were in, you were never getting out.

But now?

Someone had broken that rule.

A high-level emergency meeting was immediately convened.

"Sengoku! You damn fool!"

What's the meaning of dragging this old man out in the middle of the night?!'

A grey-haired man in a tattered uniform stormed through the doors, his voice echoing down the hallway.

It was Garp, of course.

"Shut it, Garp."

'You're the last one here.'

Sengoku snapped from his seat at the head of the table.

He wasn't in the mood.

Garp chuckled and scratched his head.

Despite his tone, he knew this wasn't a joke.

If Sengoku was this serious, then something big was on the horizon.

'Ara ara...'

'I can't say I've ever been called to a 4 a.m. meeting since I became an admiral.'

"I wonder what's got the Fleet Admiral so worked up."

Kuzan lounged lazily in his chair, a sleep mask still hanging around his neck.

Sengoku looked around the room.

Everyone was there.

He stood up and rested both hands on the long table in front of him.

'Listen carefully.'

'What I'm about to tell you could turn into something small.

'Or it could erupt into war.'

And if it's the latter..."

We're not ready."

He took a breath.

The weight of what he was about to say hung over the entire room.
