My knees on the ground as Hoon's head lay on my lap.
His breathing was rough and low.
His barely opened eyes were shot red and he was bleeding from his nose and other parts of his body.
The children gather around me.
Their eyes saddened as they look down on Hoon.
" Don't worry, he's not going to die." I assure them as I look up at my children.
What my eyes sees makes my heart clench.
They were injured.
I knew they couldn't get out this unscathed but seeing them bleeding... Ahhh!
I guess even when I know they could get hurt, seekng them hurt hits different.
I slowly place Hoon on the ground as I rise to my feet.
I pull out a few Ki boosting pills which I hand over to Ae-Cha.
" You know what to do." I say to her.
She nods in agreement.
" Children, wait here, Master would be back."
I begin walking away.
" But we can still fight!" Nari calls out.
" That's an order!" I reply without looking back.
My voice firm.
" Y...Yes Master." She utters in response.
