The children seemed more and more excited.
Outside their gates were two guards both in the Early Peak Realm.

Nari and Hwa shot forward like arrows released from a bow.
The two guards stationed at the gate barely had time to react.
A flash of steel.
Two severed throats.
The guards collapsed without a sound.
"Done!"
The girls spoke in unison, standing proudly before the gate as if they had just completed a simple chore.
I stared at them for a moment.
How the hell did I raise these children?
A sigh escaped my lips.
Without another word, I stepped forward with the rest of the group and pushed open the gate.
The moment it swung inward, a dozen guards rushed us from within.
Steel flashed beneath the moonlight.
Shouts rang through the compound.
Before I could even issue an order, the children moved.
