"System, sign in."

[Ding, successfully signed in. Congratulations to the host for obtaining: Cocoa Fruit ×10, Points +100!]

Indeed, luck wasn't always good. Cocoa Fruit was a material used to make Energy Cubes; Jiang Chen could get as much of this as he wanted.

After feeding his Pokémon and eating breakfast, Jiang Chen took his map and some wilderness tools, then prepared to set off.

"Young master, should I come with you?"

Ning Ya asked Jiang Chen.

"No need."

"Then please be careful, young master."

"Don't worry, Alakazam is with me."

Jiang Chen patted Alakazam, picked up his Poké Ball, and had Alakazam use Teleport.

Teleport was a very useful move. A single Teleport directly took them from home to the wilderness.

"Ralts~!"

Ralts looked at Alakazam with envy.

"Don't worry, your future achievements will definitely not be inferior to Alakazam's."

Jiang Chen stroked Ralts's small head to comfort it. In fact, this Shiny Ralts truly had more potential than Alakazam.

"Come out."

He released Squirtle, Beldum, and Dragonite.

"Sure enough, the most common Pokémon in the wild are still Caterpie, Weedle, and Oddish."

"Oh, and Rattata."

Wild Pokémon wouldn't randomly attack humans, and some even feared humans. However, there were also aggressive Pokémon that would attack humans.

Defeating wild Pokémon could also earn points, but he wouldn't deliberately hunt them for points.

Because if wild Pokémon were injured and didn't receive treatment, they would likely die.

While he considered himself no saint, he was no great villain either.

This was his bottom line. Points were important, but if he became deranged for the sake of obtaining points, he might eventually become unrecognizable to himself.

However, for Pokémon that attacked first, Jiang Chen wouldn't hold back.

For example, that provocative Rattata was controlled by Ralts's Psychic and knocked unconscious.

"Indeed, finding suitable Pokémon in the wild is difficult."

They were all common Pokémon. Even Pidgeotto, Spearow, and Hoothoot were rarely encountered.

The most frequently encountered were Bug-type Pokémon.

After spending a morning in the forest, he hadn't caught a single Pokémon. He had experienced many battles, though, and many aggressive Pokémon were dealt with by Ralts, Beldum, and Squirtle.

For those they couldn't handle, Dragonite took care of them. As for anything Dragonite couldn't handle, nothing like that had appeared yet.

This forest was a small one near Tianhai City, not very large, so it was normal not to encounter rare Pokémon here.

However, not only were there no rare Pokémon here, but even the Pokémon's talents were underwhelming. Jiang Chen hadn't even encountered a single Pokémon with pseudo-Elite Four potential.

"Let's rest for a bit and eat something."

Jiang Chen took out food from his backpack.

"Oh, I didn't expect to find a Shuckle here."

Not far away, he saw a Pokémon that looked like a small turtle. Its body was a red, hollow shell that could store berries, and it had many holes, with its head and limbs able to retract into it.

Shuckle's base stats exceeded five hundred, which was not low; pseudo-legendaries only had around six hundred.

However, Jiang Chen didn't plan to catch it because Shuckle was too extreme. Its two defensive stats were incredibly high, both at 230.

All its base stats were allocated to defense, which was too extreme. Its speed was a pitiful single digit, and its two attacking stats were very low. In a battle, it would be a punching bag.

The critical issue was high defense but low HP. Despite its high defenses, it wasn't even qualified as a tank unless it couldn't be broken through. If its defenses were breached, it would be immediately out of the game.

In games, it could be played with moves like Power Trick that swapped offense and defense, but in reality, Shuckle was truly unsuitable for battle.

"Don't Shuckle usually live on mountains? How did it appear in the forest?"

He kindly fed Shuckle a few Energy Cubes. After it had eaten its fill, Jiang Chen began to have his Pokémon train.

"Ralts, you also need to do physical training."

Pokémon moves didn't have many usage restrictions; a move could be used repeatedly, but it would consume stamina, just like Devil Fruit users in One Piece.

Some moves also consumed mental energy.

For example, some Psychic-type moves.

Shiny Ralts's mental power was maxed out, and its Psychic ability was very powerful, but its physical stamina, though not bad, was only average.

Hearing Jiang Chen talk about physical training, Ralts didn't refuse and obediently agreed.

However, only during actual training did it realize how hard physical training was.

Looking at the pitiful Ralts, Jiang Chen felt heartbroken, but he ultimately hardened his resolve.

"Go, Ralts! When we get back, I'll prepare your favorite cream cake for you."

Pokémon could certainly eat human food; it was just that some Pokémon were used to it, while others weren't.

And Ralts particularly loved cream cake, and not just cream cake, it loved any dessert.

Hearing Jiang Chen cheering it on, coupled with the temptation of cream cake, Ralts persevered.

In fact, Jiang Chen didn't need Ralts to have extremely strong physical stamina. Training Ralts into a close-combat mage was unrealistic and not what Ralts excelled at.

Strengthening its stamina through training was so that it wouldn't be exhausted from continuously using moves during future battles.

Beldum was also constantly hitting rocks or trees; its invincible Iron Head skill was being honed.

Before evolving, Beldum had very few attacking methods. Before pseudo-legendaries' final evolutions, there weren't many effective ways to attack. Beldum would improve once it evolved into Metang.

In the afternoon, most of the time was spent training.

Squirtle also didn't disappoint in its training; its strength increased again, becoming Ordinary Rank 3.

"Na~~!!!"

A scream came from afar, and then a large blue rat-like creature was seen dashing over, followed by a group of Beedrill.

"Is that a Nidoran♀?"

Jiang Chen stood up, looking at the large blue rat-like creature.

Then he looked at the group of Beedrill. How did this Nidoran♀ provoke the forest bullies?
