Formerly Lost from Light and Changing Star of the Immortal Flame Clan find themselves on opposite ends of the Hadarac Desert in the soon-to-be war torn world of Alagaësia. Unaware of how or why they have been sent to this foreign realm, they must choose how they will navigate the new world, and suffer the natural consequences caused by their sudden arrival. 
They are capable of shaping the path of this world irrevocably, whether they try to or not... so what will they choose? To forge bonds, allies, and companionship with the foreign races? 
Perhaps rule them, better than their own naive, selfish, incompetent, and ultimately lacking leaders ever could? 
Will they lead them into war? Watch and wait? Pick sides, play two or three, maybe toss a couple things on the board just to watch the sparks fly? Negotiate treaties, establish new nations, destroy or enslave races and maybe even species... who knows? It's all fair game when you might as well be a deity.

This work of fiction has been created for fans of either or both series, and as such, will be written with the assumption that the original works have already been completed by my readers. Attempting to follow along without having read the original stories will be difficult for new readers to understand without the copious amounts of context, but I will do my best where I can.

I urge you to go read both series if you haven't already. They are both fantastic.

As the school season has started, I will be focusing on my daily work as much as possible, and am somewhat unsure what that will mean for this novel.


I cannot afford distractions at the moment so, as of today, this work is on a *hesitant* hiatus. I have also been having trouble with the direction to take, which is why the updates have been so slow. 


I love you guys a lot. I know I've never talked to any of you besides the comment-reply feature, but its been one of the things I've come to enjoy about writing Shadow Slave vs. The Inheritance Cycle, even if they're simple one-lined "thank you's" for the chapter. :) I truly appreciate all of you and your support. I know I'm only one amongst a dozen other novels in your guy's libraries, but watching the slow growth of this, my first ever work as an amateur author, has been one of the highlights of my summer.


For the time being, I need to transition from summer life to school life- that means I may not be uploading for a while. I will work when I can if I have good motivation, but, unfortunately, you won't be having much in way of even weekly uploads.
