Chapter 19 - Chapter 19: Link Up!

Hearing Ron's encouragement and the supportive bullet comments, Nojiko's nerves slowly eased.

She took a deep breath, gathered her thoughts, and said, "On our island, everyone grows tangerines. Every year, our biggest headache is trying to sell them."

"Even when we set the price really low, a lot of them still go unsold and just rot at home."

"I want to ask… if someone wants to buy my tangerines after I list them in the Shopping Cart, how would I deliver them to the buyer?"

Her question hit home for nearly everyone watching the stream.

Even if someone was willing to buy, without a proper way to transport the goods, the whole system would be useless.

Ron smiled. "Great question. That's exactly one of the key points I want to explain today."

Then, Ron started guiding Nojiko through the steps.

Following his instructions, Nojiko took two photos of the tangerines and listed them in the Shopping Cart at 100 Berries for five catties.

Then came the real magic. Ron picked up another phone and demonstrated for everyone.

"Folks watching the livestream, buying tangerines is actually super easy. Just place your order like I'm doing now. Put your money under the phone, shout 'Recharge 1,000 Berries!' and hit purchase."

Under everyone's stunned gaze, Ron calmly called out the phrase.

The Berries he had placed under his phone suddenly disappeared.

A second later,

Ron held up the phone. "You can see here—my balance is now 900 Berries. That's after the cost of the tangerines was deducted."

Then he looked at Nojiko and asked, "Miss Nojiko, do you see an order in your TikTok merchant backend?"

Nojiko, like everyone else, was completely floored by what had just happened.

The money had vanished right before their eyes.

And the payment deduction was real, shown clearly on the phone.

It was beyond amazing.

"Ah? I—I… I'm here," Nojiko snapped back to reality and opened her merchant backend. There really was an order sitting there!

Her dark eyes sparkled with shock. "There really is one! Developer, what do I do next to send the tangerines to you?"

This was the part that had everyone glued to their screens.

If the product couldn't actually be shipped, the entire system would be a gimmick, no matter how flashy.

"Just like I did earlier. Put the tangerines beneath your phone and tap 'Ship' on the order page," Ron replied patiently.

"That's it? I'll go get them right now!" Nojiko said excitedly.

She dashed out into the yard and returned quickly with a big basket of tangerines.

The fruit was large, plump, and still had green leaves attached. It looked unbelievably fresh and fragrant.

"Developer, just point the phone at this basket and click 'Ship'?" she asked again for confirmation.

"Yes, but… that basket looks like it weighs at least twenty catties. That's a lot," Ron said, slightly surprised at how generous she was being.

"Hehe~ Developer, don't be so formal. If this really works, it could help our whole village a lot," Nojiko said sincerely.

To her, this basket of tangerines was just a thank-you gift.

She took a deep breath, hands trembling slightly as she tapped "Ship" on the screen.

A black vortex suddenly appeared above the basket of tangerines.

Its size matched the basket exactly.

Then, in a flash of light, the entire basket vanished beneath the phone.

At the same time, a black vortex appeared on Ron's side of the livestream.

Moments later, the exact same basket materialized on the table in front of him.

The chat exploded.

No one could believe what they'd just seen.

Some doubted it was real.

But then, Ron casually picked up a tangerine, peeled it, and took a bite.

Juice burst out visibly. It wasn't a trick. It was 100% real.

The tangerines had teleported.

> "This—this—this… is this for real?! It has to be fake!"

> "Is this some kind of Devil Fruit ability? Like a space-type power or teleportation?"

> "If that's possible… couldn't I just list myself for sale and teleport instantly? Zero-distance island travel! This is insane!"

The livestream chat went into absolute meltdown.

Even Ron paused, raising an eyebrow at that last comment.

The system promptly popped up a message:

[This channel does not exist!]

Ron relayed it to everyone. "Sorry, that viewer's idea won't work. The Shopping Cart doesn't support transporting living beings. So don't even think about gaming the system."

A flood of regret filled the chat. So much for instant travel across the Grand Line.

Meanwhile,

Nojiko received an order completion notice.

Her account balance had updated—100 Berries.

Next to it was a withdrawal button. She tapped it out of curiosity… and a crisp 100-Berry note appeared in her hand.

"It really sold! It actually made money!" Nojiko gasped.

Her already beautiful face lit up with joy.

And with that, her follower count skyrocketed—over 10,000 in an instant.

For TikTok's early stage, this kind of explosive follower growth was rare.

And it was all thanks to Ron's livestream.

Otherwise, unless you went the fan-service route, gaining followers this fast would be next to impossible.

"Alright, that concludes the Shopping Cart demonstration," Ron said with a calm smile. "Once your follower count reaches 1,000, you'll unlock Shopping Cart access and can start listing products."

"Now, let's move on to video production techniques. Since Miss Nojiko is already connected, let's use her as our example."

Ron turned to her and asked, "Miss Nojiko, how do you plan to continue selling tangerines? More specifically, how will you film your videos?"

"Ah? Um… I haven't really thought about it yet," Nojiko said, flustered, but quickly added, "Before, I just recorded videos of the tangerines ripening and posted those. This is my first time actually trying to sell them."

"And how about going forward?" Ron pressed.

"Hmm… I guess I'll keep filming more clips of the tangerines. The ones from our village are really good. We pick them fresh every time, so they're always super juicy," Nojiko said earnestly.

"Not bad. But if that's all you do, then you still haven't nailed the technique."

(To be continued.)
