A cold dry breeze blew across the streets of Arcadia City it was the beginning of the harmattan dry season
Rick rolled out of bed, hearing the sounds of their kennel door banging open due to the fast wind; he stretched, took off his clothes, slid into the bathroom, and then stepped back out, remembering that the water would be cold.
Then he heard the front door open
He then rushed and put on his trousers "It could be anyone" Said Rick
"Hey what's up" Ross his twin brother said walking in with a worn-out look on his face, Rick looked back with his trousers halfway around up legs "Ohh it's even you, we slept on the same bed so why the fuck have you coming back from the middle of nowhere by 4:30 and in the morning" Rick said with a puzzled look on his face
Ross said looking at him with a smile on his face "didn't you hear those guys shouting around 12, I went out to check, found out it was thieves, joined in the chase, and caught one"
" Just one" Rick said laughing silently
"You think it's funny the guy was riding a fucking hoverbike and I was with that stupid skateboard, luckily for me he ran out of gas in that trashy alley... "
"Yeah yeah you saved the world who cares, you just got lucky," Rick said cutting Ross off "Now please excuse me I need to make it to school early today"
Rick ran into the bathroom "Well at least I'm not as weak as you are and I always stand up for myself unlike you" Ross shouted while sitting on the living room couch with an energy drink he just grabbed from the mini fridge in their room
"Haa you think I actually care" Rick whispered walking out of the bathroom with his boxers on and towel on his neck
"Were complete opposites"
"That's it Rick you can't just walk and with no sense of defense in a city like this, arcadia isn't just some city it's a place full off crime and thugs, drugs and sex every fucked up concept you can think of here it's survive not live life normally, so do you get it?"
"Yeah Ross you say that every time" Rick gave him a cold reply arranging his shirt collar while walking out of the house
"Don't expect to see me in school I'm way to exhausted, and bro your collar should stay up it serves as a warning" Ross shouted
"Noted," Said Rick as he hoped on his black sports bicycle and rode off at speed
Just a few meters from his school, Rick got blocked by a red Jeep with guys that were looking a bit older than him, and one of them looked at him in disgust, saying, "Yoo four eyes, why don't you empty your pockets and get your ass over here we wanna play...."
