In his rage, Akainu decided to take on the entire Akatsuki group single-handedly, hoping to reclaim his dominant dignity!
Originally, Nagato, Itachi Uchiha, Kisame Hoshigaki, and the others had no intention of continuing to gang up on him. After all, they were members of the Akatsuki and had their own pride to uphold!
But just as Nagato and the others were about to find new opponents, Akainu, in his fury, launched a group attack, targeting all of them simultaneously.

Soon, the two were once again engaged in a fierce battle, the intensity of their fight causing nearby soldiers and pirates alike to watch with bated breath.
Meanwhile, most of the other members of the Ninja Association had also found their opponents, and the Whitebeard Pirates naturally joined the fray enthusiastically.
Initially, only the top fighters from both sides were engaged. But later, some Marines and pirates started thinking, If we don't fight, doesn't that mean we're admitting we're just low-level lackeys?

Sabo and Luffy both looked up at Ace on the execution platform, smiles breaking out on their faces.

Luffy cupped his hands around his mouth and shouted loudly towards the platform, "Ace! We're here to save you!"
Sabo, standing beside him, stumbled, nearly falling flat on his face.
He promptly smacked Luffy on the back of the head, yelling angrily, "Luffy! Didn't I just tell you we need to be discreet?!"
His plan had been to rescue Ace quietly while no one was paying attention!
Luffy finally remembered Sabo's earlier advice. "Oh, right!" He quickly pulled his shirt up to cover his head.
Then, mimicking the hand seals he'd seen the ninjas use, he whispered, "Right, low profile. I'm a ninja now too! You can't see me!"
Sabo: "..."
Watching Luffy's carefree attitude nearly gave Sabo a liver ache.
Of course, after Luffy's loud shout, everyone on the battlefield noticed Sabo and Luffy. Seeing they had already reached the execution platform, the faces of many World Government soldiers changed.
"Bastards! You have no honor!"
"We agreed on a fair fight, with the winner deciding Ace's fate! This is a sneak attack!"
"Stop them! Don't let them succeed!"
Several Marine Vice Admirals roared in anger, quickly disengaging from their opponents to charge towards the two brothers.
However, several of the Whitebeard Pirates' division commanders saw their chance. Their eyes lit up as they swiftly moved to intercept the charging Vice Admirals.
Still, a few Marine Rear Admirals and soldiers managed to break through, lunging at Luffy and Sabo.
"Luffy, it's your fault we're exposed!" Sabo said exasperatedly.
Luffy just grinned widely, laughing without a hint of remorse.
They quickly dispatched the attacking Rear Admirals and soldiers, then began figuring out how to get up the execution platform to save Ace.
On the platform, Ace also noticed Sabo and Luffy below. His face filled with emotion. "Sabo! Luffy!" he called out, voice thick with feeling.
"Ace, hang on! We'll get you out soon!" Sabo looked up, meeting Ace's gaze with a determined smile.
Just then, one of the prisoners who had escaped from Impel Down with them—the South Blue Revolutionary Inazuma, user of the Scissors-Scissors Fruit—acted. His scissor-hands sliced through the ground.
In an instant, the ground was cut like cloth and laid upwards towards the execution platform, forming a solid bridge leading directly to the top.
"Inazuma! That's a huge help!" Sabo thanked him.
He and Luffy immediately charged up the solid bridge made of scissors power towards the platform.
"Stop them!" Fleet Admiral Sengoku shouted urgently.
Sabo and Luffy moved fast, quickly reaching the midway point of the bridge.
Suddenly, a door opened in mid-air. A burly man with bull-like horns on his hairstyle stepped out. It was CP9's Blueno, the Door-Door Fruit user!
"You shall not pass!" Blueno declared, blocking their path.
It turned out that Rob Lucci, who had unexpectedly gained Kong's favor, had brought his fellow CP9 members to help guard the execution platform.
