Kaguya Ōtsutsuki remained completely unmoved by Lin Xuan's words.
In truth, Lin Xuan knew that expecting her to fully submit just like that was unrealistic. At best, Kaguya was temporarily yielding. Once she learned more about him and figured out his weaknesses, she would surely start planning her escape.
But Lin Xuan wasn't concerned. He understood that truly subduing someone like Kaguya wouldn't happen overnight. For now, as long as she behaved and helped him earn more Reputation Points, things were fine. When his strength grew further, he'd naturally have ways to make her submit completely.
"Come on, let's go back. We've been out long enough — time for dinner," Lin Xuan said calmly as he turned and flew toward the beach near the Gate of Heaven, heading back to Konis's house.
Kaguya, having recovered some of her chakra, silently followed.
Only now did she finally have time to carefully observe this world.
To be honest, she still found it hard to believe that she had ended up in such a strange place. Yet, from everything she saw and sensed, it was clear — this world was vastly different from her own.
Another universe, perhaps? A whole new dimension?
As they flew, Lin Xuan remained quiet. Kaguya too followed in silence, not saying a word.
What she didn't know was that Lin Xuan was actually chatting away enthusiastically with others through the Super-Dimensional Communication in his mind.
"I really didn't expect you to actually tame her — and make her a servant!" Madara Uchiha exclaimed in disbelief.
"Right? If the Sage of Six Paths knew about this, I wonder what he'd think?" Hashirama Senju added with a sigh.
Seeing their reactions, Lin Xuan's eyes sparkled mischievously and he suddenly said in the group chat, "If we're talking about bloodlines, she's technically your ancestor. And now you're watching your own ancestor work as my maid. Shouldn't you be more concerned about that than what others might think?"
Master Roshi: "Pfft! Hahaha…"
Madara: "…"
Hashirama: "…"
Yep. Lin Xuan just couldn't go a day without roasting someone.
Still, they were used to his personality by now and had developed a certain immunity to it. So they both pretended they didn't hear his jab.
Madara quickly changed the subject, asking, "By the way, about that Ōtsutsuki clan you mentioned…"
Hashirama perked up as well, sensing the topic shift was serious.
Lin Xuan didn't call him out on the distraction, simply chuckling and saying, "You want to know? Beg me."
Madara: "…"
Hashirama: "Cut the crap, be serious! That Ōtsutsuki clan you're talking about — it's not the one from the moon, right?"
"Of course not," Lin Xuan replied. "I think you both have already guessed. That's right — it's the force Kaguya originally came from, the very enemy she's always feared."
"As expected," Madara said grimly, his tone heavy.
Even Hashirama grew serious at the revelation.
Madara pressed on, "Are they really that powerful? Even someone like Kaguya fears them?"
Lin Xuan shrugged. "Can't say for sure just yet. But they won't be appearing in your world anytime soon. As long as you two — and the entire ninja world — keep getting stronger, you'll be able to handle them when the time comes."
Neither Madara nor Hashirama looked fully convinced — it was obvious Lin Xuan knew more than he was letting on. But they couldn't force it out of him.
Besides, he wasn't wrong. As long as they kept improving, they'd eventually be able to face anything.
Then Madara suddenly asked, "You're heading back down to the Blue Sea soon, right?"
"Yeah," Lin Xuan replied, glancing down with a slight smirk. "It's about time. It'll take a few days to descend from Skypiea to the Sabaody Archipelago. I should probably get moving."
Madara rubbed his hands eagerly. "Then we should start preparing too, right?"
Lin Xuan raised an eyebrow. "You seem really excited about fighting the Marines."
Madara didn't hide it. "Of course! I want to see how strong the top fighters of your world really are!"
Hashirama looked exasperated. "Seriously, Madara? You've already died once — and you're still this eager to fight?"
Madara scoffed. "Don't act like you're not the same. If you weren't interested, then why did you prep your own DNA so quickly?"
"I—" Hashirama had no comeback.
Lin Xuan chuckled, then asked, "Since you're both so eager, have you finished preparing what I asked for?"
"Pretty much," Hashirama replied. "That kid Orochimaru is still doing some checks. Oh, and here — I'm sending over some White Zetsu spores for you."
He sent a red packet in the group chat. Lin Xuan tapped to receive it — his inventory instantly filled with ten Edo Tensei scrolls.
Before he could even open them, Madara complained in the chat: "Hashirama, you bastard! I told you I wanted to send the red packet this time!"
Hashirama: "Haha, sending these is kind of fun. You can do it next time!"
Madara: "Hmph."
Master Roshi: "I can't believe you two are grown men arguing over who gets to send red packets."
Lin Xuan laughed. "Guess they still have some childlike innocence left."
Madara: "…"
Hashirama: "…"
Childlike innocence, my ass!
Meanwhile, Lin Xuan turned to look at Kaguya and said, "You'd better recover your chakra quickly. You'll be busy soon."
Kaguya frowned. "Busy with what?"
She was suspicious — if Lin Xuan wanted her to do something she didn't want to, she was prepared to resist with everything she had.
But what he said next stunned her.
"You'll be busy helping me cultivate a new batch of White Zetsu."
