We continued our journey.
Well, they continued. I was roughly pulled along in the cold and dark night.
Alpha Vincent led the way while the rest of us followed from behind him.
My eyes travelled around the unfamiliar forest, looking for a clue, or anything that would help me locate my way after I escaped, but there was nothing that could be used as a clue.
The forest was surrounded by trees and shrubs, just like any other forest. Finding my way back will only be difficult, I thought in my head.
I thought of leaving a clue if there would be a search party, and I needed to leave it without any of the men noticing.
"Where are you taking me to?" I asked in a teary voice, and stopped moving. The men who were pulling me, yanked my arms forcefully but I would not move.
Alpha Vincent had stopped in front of us, and faced me. The smug smile still plastered on his face.
"Patience, lady. You'll find out soon enough." He said calmly, and with a smile.
