After the door shut, Lucian stayed alone in the study. The silence once again gripped the room. His eyes still in bewilderment as he reached for his lips, touching them with the tip of his finger.
'What is he even going on about?'
He kissed him. Nathan kissed him and told him that he didn't want things to change. But Lucian wasn't sure. He didn't know if he was referring to their relationship or maybe to not knowing. But again, that wouldn't explain why he kissed him. His mind was a mess.
He leaned completely, limbs extended on the couch. He turned upside-down, hands in his hair as he processed what had happened.
He came clean with Nathan. He told him about the lie, "And he didn't care..." Lucian let out a heavy breath as he contemplated. He wasn't blaming him about what happened that day.
Lucian let out an ill-humored smirk, then started laughing because he felt ridiculed.
