Aaron's POV
In the morning a 17 years old boy was washing his mother's car in his yard shirtless. joy past and saw my shirtless wet body and started to blush. she tried to look away but the water running down my rock hard abs stopped her.
" Why are you up so early" I asked
"I had an errand to run" she answered looking at my abs.
"Are you blushing?" I asked
"No, why would I blush " I said running away. I quickly finish the job and rushed up to get ready for school. The day went by fast and before I knew it I was at my after school job.
I worked at a convenience store as a part-timer until six. When I switched shifts with I took my things said my goodbyes are went home.
When I was almost home, I saw joy with her head down looking all moody. I walked over to her just to give her a little scare. I held her shoulders and shouted Boo and she broke down into tears.
I laughed and laughed until I noticed that she didn't stop crying I tried to call solar but she didn't stop then I asked whether she was that scared and she said no she had a bad day. Curiously I asked her what happened to her and she began to share.
After she was done I stood up an hugged her saying I knew how she felt. I hugged her for about 5 minutes and she eventually pulled away when she stopped crying. She thanked me and I replied. We stared at each other for a while then she started to move closer and kissed me.
I kissed her back but almost immediately she pulled away. I didn't know what to do. I thought to run away but things would be awkward later and I could not confess because it failed last time. Some second later she said "sorry, it was a mistake".
I stood there shocked by what had just happened. The whole scene replayed in my head with the words she said hitting like a nail on a stubborn nail
"IT WAS A MISTAKE".
