Sean's current strength had actually reached the level of some adult wizards.
Of course, the relationship between a wizard's strength and age wasn't that absolute. Adult wizards also varied between strong and weak. A weak one could probably be defeated by a normal third-year Hogwarts student, while powerful ones like Aurors could easily take on ten weak adult wizards at once.
Sean certainly wasn't one of the weak ones, but he definitely couldn't compare to the strength of an Auror.
The magic in this world was much more powerful than the Harry Potter world in Sean's memory, and as the most powerful wizards in the Ministry of Magic, Aurors were also far stronger than Sean remembered. So although Sean's magical strength had reached quite an outstanding level, he still wasn't the least bit complacent, because he was very clear that his current self was still far from strong enough.
On the last day of his second year at Hogwarts, Sean went to bed early.
Early the next morning, Sean joined Blaise, Andy, and Jansen as they followed the group leaving Hogwarts for Hogsmeade Station. Their luggage and pets were sent to the train by Hogwarts house-elves, so they didn't need to worry about anything.
The return train arrived at Platform Nine and Three-Quarters at King's Cross Station amid everyone's chatter.
The four got off the train and parted ways. Blaise and Andy found their families and left the station.
Sean and Jansen quickly found Aldrich, who was accompanied by Sean's family house-elf, Jade.
Seeing Sean, Aldrich immediately came forward. He wore his usual black fitted robes, meticulous, clean and tidy.
Bowing to Sean and ignoring Jansen, Aldrich said to Sean: "Young Master, I can finally be by your side again and follow your orders."
"It really has been a long time, Aldrich. How have you been?"
"I've been well, thank you for your concern, Young Master. Aldrich will remember this in his heart."
"Alright, don't say so much. I can't wait to see Caesar and Mom and Dad. Let's hurry back." Speaking to this point, Sean turned to look at Jansen and said: "Jansen, you should go back too. This holiday, if there are no accidents, I probably won't be going out again. I want to spend good time with Mom, Dad, and Caesar. You should go home and rest well too."
Hearing Sean's words, Jansen immediately nodded and bowed: "Understood, Young Master."
Hearing Jansen's words, Sean was stunned for a moment, then realized that now that they had left Hogwarts, they had returned to a master-servant relationship. He wanted to say something, but Sean still didn't speak. He just nodded to Jansen and said: "Then we'll see each other next semester."
"Goodbye, Young Master."
Jansen bowed again and turned to leave.
During this time, Aldrich and Jansen glared at each other, but said nothing. These two guys always looked at each other with displeasure, and Sean had no solution for this.
After Jansen left, Sean looked at Aldrich and Jade and said: "Jade, take my luggage and Kulkan home. After getting home, prepare some fresh bird eggs and fresh meat to feed Kulkan when she wakes up."
"Yes, Young Master."
Jade disappeared from in front of Sean with a flash.
Watching Jade disappear, Sean felt somewhat regretful. House-elves were beings with servitude ingrained in their bones. They simply wouldn't and couldn't easily attack human wizards. Even among house-elf anomalies, Dobby had only attacked Lucius Malfoy when forced into a desperate situation.
Sean had once thought about whether he could duel with house-elves to gain their magic that was independent of wizards. He had tried both at Hogwarts and at home, but those house-elves had absolutely no intention of agreeing to duel with him... not even a tiny bit.
Later, Sean could only temporarily abandon this idea and look for opportunities in the future.
Walking out of King's Cross Station, there was already a car waiting outside. Looking at the car logo, Sean asked Aldrich: "Aldrich, why did you rent such a high-end car?"
Hearing this, Aldrichsaid: "Young Master, this is the family's car. This is the driver hired by the family, his name is..."
Before Aldrich could finish speaking, the driver, a man of about fifty, smiled and said: "Young Master, my name is John. You can call me Old John... that's what everyone around here calls me.
Also, I'm a Squib, so Young Master doesn't need to worry about me hearing things I shouldn't hear."
As soon as John finished speaking, Aldrich said: "Young Master, John's driving skills are excellent, and he's an upright person. The Master and Mistress both like him very much."
"Haha, thank you for the praise, Mr. Aldrich."
Old John was a very talkative person, and there were no awkward silences throughout the journey. Since he was also a Squib, Sean and Aldrich didn't need to be too secretive when talking.
The car drove straight home.
Sean and Aldrich got out of the car together and entered the house.
As soon as they walked into the house, they saw Martha waiting in the living room, rocking a cradle, while Yard was in the kitchen preparing some warm drinks for Martha. These were things Sean had instructed. Western women didn't have the custom of postpartum confinement. In Sean's view, while not everything about confinement was scientific, some aspects did have merit.
So when Martha still had a month before her due date, Sean had written to Yard, asking him to take care of Martha according to his instructions after she gave birth. From what he could see now, Yard had done well.
"Dad, Mom, I'm home."
"Sean, come quickly, let me see you."
Yard handed the hot milk in his hands to Martha, then came to Sean and looked him over carefully, nodding and saying: "Taller, you've grown much taller. You're probably about 1.75 or 1.76 meters now, right?"
"About that, I haven't measured."
"Mm, very good. You've also become much sturdier. As long as you're healthy."
As soon as Yard finished speaking, Martha, holding milk in one hand and Caesar in the other, immediately called out: "Sean, come over here quickly and let me see you. Don't keep chatting with your father over there. Come see Mom. And I'm eager to show you Caesar too."
"Coming, coming. I'm actually eager to see Caesar too."
Walking quickly to sit beside Martha, Sean gently hugged both Martha and Caesar in her arms, then took Caesar from Martha's arms into his own. Looking at his sleeping brother, Sean's face showed a genuine smile.
Seeing this smile from Sean, Martha and Yard exchanged glances and both showed relieved smiles.
