Kalp goes to Professor Samuel's class. After the class, all the students leave, Kalp goes to meets Professor Samuel.
'Professor.' Kalp said.
'Yes Kalp?' Samuel said.
'Professor, I want your help.' Kalp said.
'Okay, tell me what you want.' Samuel said.
'I want to spar with you.' Kalp said.
'Spar? Are you serious?' Samuel says and looks into Kalp's eyes. They are full of dedication.
'Okay.' Samuel said.
They start their fight with wooden swords in the training field. Kalp attacks Samuel with his full force. Samuel is very impressed to see Kalp's attack.
'You have become very strong within a short amount of time. Your attack is nearly perfect.' Samuel says while blocking Kalp's attack.
Then Samuel attacks and Kalp deflects his attack. Fight goes for a while, then Samuel gets serious and he defeats Kalp in a minute. Kalp's Sword is broken into pieces and he falls on the ground.
'That was so good, you have improved a lot.' Samuel says and gives his hand to Kalp.
Kalp stands up.
'No, I can't even stop you for a few minutes when you fight seriously.' Kalp said.
'Ha-ha. Now the thing you lack most is the experience of fighting.' Samuel said.
'Fighting Experience?' Kalp asked.
'Yes, till now you have practiced alone and have fights with students, but they are weak students than you in close combat. If you want to gain fighting experience, you have to fight with stronger opponents.' Samuel said.
'Where can I find stronger opponents?' Kalp asked.
'Don't worry you will get many chances. There will be fighting tournament after five months, in which 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students can participate. Magicians will fight with magicians and warriors will fight with warriors.' Samuel said.
'Okay, I will also participate in that tournament.' Kalp says in excitement.
'But before that, there will be demon hunting exercise.' Samuel said.
'When will it be?' Kalp asked.
'Next month, so focus on that, first. Okay?' Samuel said.
'Yes Professor.' Kalp said.
Then Kalp leaves from there and goes to the cafeteria, where he meets Kevin.
'Kevin, where is Alice?' Kalp asked.
'I don't know, after the class, she didn't come here. Look, she is there.' Kevin says and Alice enters cafeteria.
'Alice.' Kalp calls Alice loudly.
Alice comes and sits with Kalp and Kevin.
'Alice, where are you so busy?' Kalp asked.
'I am busy in my studies.' Alice said.
'Okay, fine. By the way, do you know there will be Demon hunting exercise next month?' Kalp asked.
'No….' Kevin said.
'I heard something about this.' Alice said.
'Really, what do you know?' Kalp asked.
'Not much, something like, all 1st year student will be sent to demon forest for hunting demon animals.' Alice said.
'Demon Forest?' Kalp said.
'Kalp, why don't you ask about this from your brother?' Kevin said.
Then Josh enters the cafeteria.
'Everyone, go to the academy hall.' Josh says loudly.
'Let's go.' Kalp said.
They go to Academy hall, second and third year student were already there. Kevin sees Jack.
'Look, Jack is there.' Kevin said.
'Jack.' Kevin calls Jack.
'Jack, meet, she is Alice. We told you about her.' Kalp said.
'Hello, I am Jack Luther.' Jack says and tries to shake hand.
Alice looks at him angrily.
'Alice, what happened?' Kalp said.
'I am going. Professor will be here soon.' Saying this Alice leaves from there.
'Alice… Sorry Jack, She don't like nobles and thinks that all nobles are bad. I will talk to her, she will understand.' Kalp said.
'I never saw her in this much anger.' Kevin said.
'Yeah, I also never saw her.' Kalp said and Professors enters the hall.
'Okay, we will meet after this.' Jack says and they all go to their places.
'Everyone get in line.' Ava said loudly and then everyone stands in lines.
'There will be two announcements today here. The first announcement is that Next month all the first year students will participate in Demon hunting exercise. They will go to Demon forest. They have to make a team of five members. Every team has slay at least two 2nd stage demon beasts. So, make your team carefully because if you fail to do that, it will effect in your final exam and you might even fail in the first year.' Ava said.
'So, we have to make a team. We have to find two more team members.' Kalp thinks.
'Now, second Announcement is that after five months, there will be a fighting Tournament. In this tournament, anyone from first to third year can participate. There will be two winners, one is warrior and one is magician. Winners will get a 7th stage demon beast Mana core and medium grade magic sword. So, All the best.' Ava said.
After announcement, Kalp, Kevin and Jack sit in the cafeteria.
'Where is Alice?' Kalp asked.
'I asked her to meet in cafeteria, but she didn't listen to me.' Kevin said.
'Okay, we will talk to her later.' Kalp said.
'Jack, the right time has come to show your true power.' Kalp said.
'Yes.' Jack says with a cheeky smile.
'And what's about demon hunting team?' Kevin asked.
'We have to find two more members in our class.' Kalp said.
'Kalp, it is not as simple as you think because of our reputation, Ralph and other nobles hate us. So, it's likely impossible to convince anyone to join our team.' Kevin said.
'Kevin, how many students do we have in our class?' Kalp asked.
'Around forty... I don't know.' Kevin said.
'Thirty-five students. If every team takes five students, then there will be two students left. So, they have to come in our team.' Kalp said.
'Right. So we don't have to worry.' Kevin said.
'Let's start our preparation.' Kalp says and then they leave.
