The next morning, Kalp goes to his first class of Mana subject. Where, teacher teaches basic Mana knowledge and how to gather Mana. Kalp is sitting with Kevin on the middle bench.
Teacher enters the classroom, she has long yellow hair, a pointed chin and a pointed nose. Her name is Lucy lan. She is forty years old. She is always in an irritated mood.
'Good morning everyone, I am gonna teach you about Mana. So, who will tell me, what is mana?' Lucy lan asked.
A student answers,
"Mana is a form of energy that exists in nature and within people. It is the source of all magic."
'Good, but nowadays, some people don't have even a drop of Mana.' Lucy says by looking at Kalp and nobles start laughing.
'Everybody, silence, so who will tell why we can use different elements to chants with Mana?' Lucy lan asked. But no one answers then Kalp raises his hand and stands up.
'Nature has all elements properties and Mana also comes from Nature. So, when we absorb Mana, we also absorb the properties of all the elements, with the help of chanting, we can activate and use that element power.' Kalp answers, but Lucy feels that Kalp is insulting her.
'Good. So, can you answer this also? Why every person can fully master only one element and there are some rear cases for two elements?' Lucy lan asked in confidence that Kalp doesn't know the answer.
Nobody knows the answer of this question.
'Because of your body aptitude, each body has different elements aptitude. Like, some people's body has fire element aptitude. When he or she absorbs Mana from nature, then their body absorb more fire element properties as compare to the other elements and fire element can easily merge with your fire aptitude body, other elements have to make their different space in your body. Because of limited Mana of different elements, we cannot fully master those elements, except your body aptitude element.' Kalp answered and most students start clapping.
Lucy feels very angry and irritable.
'Okay, sit down.' Lucy lan said.
After the class is over, a few more commoner students come to Kalp, sit and meet him.
'You make my day. Seriously, when you answer that question she was feeling so embarrassing.' Kevin says and laughs.
'So, which is the next class?' Kalp asked.
'Next is magic chants class.' A student answered.
After a few classes are passed, the next class is for close combat. Every student goes to the ground, where they see a 6.5 feet man with big sword and big muscles, wearing white sleeveless t-shirt with rosewood color cape and black trouser. He has so many scars on his hand and one scar on his face. He has black skin, bald head and small beard with black and white mixed hair. He is forty-five years old and his name is Samuel Jackson. He is very strict.
'Everyone quickly line up in five lines.' Samuel said loudly.
Everyone gets ready in lines.
'I am your physical and close combat coach. Most magicians think they are magician, so why do they need physical and close combat training. Those who are thinking like this, raise your hands?' Samuel asked.
A few people pick their hand and Kevin also.
'Idiots, if you don't train your body, you will be always burden to your fellow warriors and if a swordsman manages to get close to you in a battle then you won't be able to do anything. You'll die instantly, understand. Now, those, who raise their hand, run ten rounds of this ground and others make five rounds.' Samuel said loudly.
'What! Ten rounds? Why did I raise my hand?' Kevin said.
All students start running, while running Ralph comes from behind and pushes Kalp over his shoulder. Kalp falls to the ground, Ralph and his followers laugh at him. Kalp gets very angry but he controls his anger.
After running and exercising, Samuel gathers everyone.
'Okay everyone, now who wants to do friendly fight without using magic?' Samuel said and everyone looks at each other.
'So, who will be the first to the challenge?' Samuel asked.
Then one of Ralph follower comes and challenges Kalp because he wants to impress Ralph. Kalp accepts the challenge and then both take wooden sword.
'Fight will continue until one of you surrender or can't able to continue. Okay, now start fighting.' Samuel said and the fight begins.
In the fight, Kalp easily counters opponent's attack and easily defeats him by leg swipe and puts the sword on his neck.
'Good, Kalp, in a fight, presence of mind is the most important, you can't blindly attack. If you do that then you all saw, what would happen. Okay, next.' Samuel said.
'Comparing to fights with goblins and John uncle, this fight was so easy.' Kalp thinks while going back but suddenly, other opponent also chooses Kalp. He is also Ralph follower, he is a noble and looks like Chinese, he also chooses warrior occupation and his name is Kob.
'It's not fare he just did fight and now you're challenging him again.' Kevin said.
'If you are scared you can decline my challenge.' Kob said arrogantly.
'I accept.' Kalp said.
The fight begins. It is more challenging than the previous opponent. Kob's attack was not heavy but fast. After a minute, when his attack getting slower, Kalp suddenly attacks him with a swift attack and knocks Kob's sword away. When Kob loses his concentration, Kalp uses the throwing technique and throws Kob to the ground, catches Kob's Sword in other hand and puts it on Kob's neck.
'Fight is over. Kalp won.' Samuel said.
Samuel is so impressed with the way he fights.
Then Ralph sends Ray to challenge Kalp.
'I want to challenge Kalp.' Ray says.
'Kalp, you can decline this fight, you have already proved that you are a good fighter.' Samuel said.
'No, professor, I accept his challenge.' Kalp said.
The fight begins. Ray is a well-trained swordsman. There is equal competition in both. They took fifteen min. It continues for a moment. Then, Kalp threw his sword towards Ray. Ray's attention wanders, then Kalp throws Ray on the ground, snatches his sword and puts it on his neck.
'The fight is over, it was a great fight, very well done both of you.' Samuel said.
Everyone starts clapping. Ralph get so frustrated.
'I want to challenge Ralph…' Kalp said looking at Ralph.
Everyone is silent after hearing this.
'Kalp, you are very tired.' Samuel said.
'Then, it's good. Now it must be a fair fight because Ralph is a magician, right Ralph?' Kalp said.
Ralph is looking angrily at Kalp. Everyone is looking at Ralph.
'I accept your challenge.' Ralph said.
The fight begins. Ralph runs towards Kalp with a sword, then Kalp throws his sword and dodges his attack and then he throws Ralph on the ground with Judo technique. Ralph's face hits on the ground and then Kalp picks up Ralph's sword and puts it on Ralph's neck.
'Fight is over, Kalp has won.' Samuel said.
Everyone laughs at Ralph's way of getting away. Ralph feels very embarrassed.
'Okay, class is over, you may all go now.' Samuel said and then all the students leave from there.
'Kalp, you come here. I want to talk to you.' Samuel said to Kalp.
'Where did you learn this type of fighting style?' Samuel asked.
'My teacher is John Smith.' Kalp said.
'Oh! You are john's student, so how is he?' Samuel asked happily.
'He is good. How do you know him, Professor?' Kalp asked.
'We have done many missions together. Does he still behave like an idiot when it comes to his daughter?' Samuel asked while laughing.
'Yes,' Kalp replied smiling and Samuel also laugh.
'Who is your father?' Samuel asked.
'Liam Field.' Kalp replied, but telling this, Kalp's smile turns pale.
'Ooh he. He is a great magician and his one son is in the third year right?' Samuel said.
'Yes, he is my elder brother.' Kalp answered.
'How is he?' Samuel asked.
'He died.' Kalp answered him sadly.
'Sorry, I didn't know that. How did he die?' Samuel asked, but then a student of second year comes to him.
'Professor, vice- Principle is calling you.' Student said.
'Okay, I am coming, you go. Kalp, take care of yourself. We will talk later.' Samuel said and he left.
Kalp goes to his room. Few weeks pass like this.
One morning, everyone was gossiping about something and looking at Kalp. Nobody wants to go near him. Kalp tries to ask but no one answers him.
Kevin and Alice run towards Kalp and take him to a silent place.
'What happened?' Kalp asked.
'Kalp, tell us the truth that your father's name is Astrid Albertson?' Alice asked.
'Why are asking me this?' Kalp asked.
'Everyone is talking about this.' Kevin said.
'So, is it true?' Alice asked.
