I know, I know. I promised you some maps and a glossary of characters so long ago that the ink on that promise has probably faded into ancient history.
My sincerest apologies for the delay!
I'd love to say I was heroically fighting off a dragon that tried to steal my painstakingly crafted character list, but the truth is a little less glamorous that.
Fear not, for I have since chartered the maps, and the glossary is also compiled. Thank you for your incredible patience and for not sending a hoard of angry villagers with pitchforks to my door.
So without further ado let's get down to business.

After doing some serious digging through internet, these are the clearest ones I could find to give you a better sense of the world.
you might notice that most of these maps are from around 1135. It seems that finding a good, clear map of near east from the 1180s (our story's timeframe) is surprisingly tough.
Maybe the map-makers of that decade were just having an off-century, who knows? The borders were always shifting back then anyway, so think of these as a great starting point for understanding the general layout of the kingdoms.
For any of you cartography nerds who want to see how the borders wiggled and shifted over the years, I'm gonna share a few links to some cool historical map websites where you can geek out to your heart's content and spend hours watching kingdoms appear and disappear.
Just don't get so lost in the past that you forget to come back for the next chapter!
