"Mister Andrew, you have been looking around for some time. Does something seem to be the matter?" Mister Stones spoke curiously as he noticed. For minutes now, Mister Andrew's eyes had been drifting throughout the hall, as if he was searching for someone but did not want to make it obvious.
"Oh yes, I need to leave now. My wife… I can't find her." Another man laughed at his words and then spoke:
"This is a vast hall. Why worry? She is probably talking with one of her fellow ladies. Loosen up a bit, Mister Andrew."
They all nodded. Mister Andrew nodded too, maybe he was just overthinking. But why did he have a bitter feeling right now? Was it because he was not used to leaving his wife? He decided not to worry—she was fine, she had suggested this, and he would not want to make her feel bad if he appeared worried. Maybe he could let her enjoy herself. He tried his best to convince himself that everything was fine and he need not bother.
