Chapter 10: Adjourned.
Frances sat down opposite everyone in the meeting room listening to them.They discussed about issues pertaining to their company, the rate of their stocks, increase in wages of the staffs and how to increase their production rate.
"Lin Cosmetics Brand is a well-known brand all over Lichfield, even across England. There is a proposal we had all suggested and we know without you approving it, it won't be possible to work on it". One of the board of directors said.
"Miss Frances Lin, we want you to go through it. We would be so happy if your response on it is positive". He added.
Frances took the white papers in front of her, she opened the document and read the front page. "A proposal to expand the company to Macedonia". Seeing this, she slammed the papers on the table. "Who on earth brought about this idea?". She asked frustratedly.
"Everyone of us ma, is there any problem with it?". Another man in the room said.
"It not about the proposal, it about the location. Why Macedonia of all places? What of places like Italy, Patricia or Cape Town, why Macedonia?". Frances asked looking at all of them.
"Macedonia is a big and well developing city, we know of many big companies situated there. For example, there is the Luce Group, K&M, The Bear Group, Chap Fashion World and so on".
"Will you be the one to lecture me on how to grow my company?". Frances cut him off.
She smirked before she continued. "You thought I don't know Macedonia is rich in business wise? No one here will teach me how to run my own company and let this be the last time you bring up this proposal to Macedonia". She stood up angrily. "When you have a better plan, do let me know". She said and walked out.
Bianca followed behind her, everyone left in the room looked at themselves. They knew Miss Frances personality so well, whatever she says is final. They breathed a sigh of confusion, stood up and left altogether.
When Frances got to the office, she asked Bianca if they have left.
"Yes ma, immediately you left the room". Bianca answered composedly.
"Alright, you can take your leave". She picked up her cup of water and drank.

Charlotte Blake was home feeling very happy. She thought of the past where she had to deal with Flora hindering her from getting the things she want.
She remembered how friendly she had always been with her in college. Charlotte would frame her for a lot of things, still, this gullible girl wouldn't suspect her, she would even keep on trusting her.
Charlotte viewed her as a snake, she was always annoyed that Flora was always pretending not to know she hated her. She had also been dating Marcus for a long time, a year after he started dating Flora. She was always annoyed whenever she sees him with Flora, it would look as if she should just grab something and hit her.
Flora has always being brilliant and smart academically, she would always lead the class anytime anywhere. Charlotte would praise her publicly but when she leaves her presence she curses her.
"Cheers to us baby". Charlotte took her glass cup and offered another cup to Marcus as he comes in. She felt life had been pleasing and stable for her.
"Cheers darling, but what is the call for the celebration?". He asked wondering.
"Nothing actually". She said dropping her drink. "Am just happy life has been favoring us". She said smiling. "Isn't that right?".
"Sure, life has been good. That reminds me, how's your company doing? Any plan to expand?". Marcus asked bringing her to his lap.
"Nothing much, trust me when I say Chap Fashion World is known all over Macedonia". She smiled and kissed him briefly on his lip.
"Hmmm". He gave a seducing look. "Although, we aren't up to The Bear Group but we are getting somewhere". Both of them laughed as Marcus carried her into the room. "I won't spare you at all, I'll make sure to bury myself deep inside you". Charlotte unbuttoned his shirt as he spoke, she smirked and grabbed his head.

Stafford Chris has been a partial father right from Kevin's birth. His mother had forced him to marry May because of her family's influence. The only woman he had loved all his life was Doris, Paris and Raymond's mother.
He wanted to see his family gathering again like in the past, so he called for a family dinner. "You should try coming home today, there would be a family dinner. I have already informed your elder sister". He told Raymond on the phone.
Raymond massaged his temple, picked up a tobacco wrap and lit it up. The breeze blew on his face as he stood near the window of his office, no one could figure out what was on his mind.
He had even told his PA, Sky, to restrain anyone from coming into his office, whether for business or family issues. Sky understood his boss' pain, he knew he always want to solitude himself at a particular time. He could remember the young lady who stayed with him for some while, if she had been here, he might have been getting more better.
"What did you think about expanding the ongoing project, why not arrange for few companies from other countries to join the project?". Chris told Raymond while eating at the dinning room.
Everyone was present, including the step mother and son. The pair looked at Raymond with deep hatred, Paris gave back the look to them on behalf of her younger brother.
Raymond didn't answer Chris, he just kept on eating as if no one was talking to him. Chris felt sad, hiding his feelings and continued eating, he knew how stubborn and cold his son was.
