"Father, I want my phone… to talk to the prince," I tried to change the subject and looked at my father's face. For a moment, he paused, narrowed his eyes, and frowned.
"You must really think I'm an idiot, don't you? You think I'll give you the phone so you can talk to Alpha Theron?"
The little smirk at the corner of his lips showed he was mocking me. I took a deep breath. My throat was dry!
"I won't deny I want to talk to him. But I also want to talk to the prince."
He raised an eyebrow and laughed, walking over to his desk, leaning against it, and then looking straight at my face.
"You can't marry both."
I opened my mouth, unable to believe he thought I wanted both males!
"Father!"
"I'm not judging. Some females like more than one. But officially, you can only have one. And those two males in question… I don't think they're the type to share."
