The wind howled softly atop the massive fortifications of City M, the largest and most prosperous metropolis in this realm.
Jessica, the younger daughter of the Dragon Nation and direct bloodline of Falkor, sat on the edge of the city's huge walls. Her legs dangled over the precipice, and a beautifully crafted long sword was hugged possessively in her arms. Her eyes, sharp and reptilian, scanned the perimeter.
Standing on her both sides, flanking her like an honor guard, were Shadow, Nina, and Alexandra.
The four of them were the Sixth Team set on this mission. Unlike the other teams that had faced immediate combat, their arrival was eerily quiet.
"It seems no one attacked this city," Jessica muttered, staring at the horizon where the sun was beginning to climb, casting long shadows over the undisturbed landscape.
