Josephine, lost in thought, turned her head toward the sound. "Come in."
Blood Eye entered, her movements silent and respectful. "The King is back, and he has called for everyone," she said, her voice a low murmur.
Josephine nodded slowly, her gaze returning to the object that held her complete attention. "How's the situation with Lola?" she asked.
"I don't know, but it seems everything went well," Blood Eye replied, her eyes drawn to the strange, shimmering egg on the table. Its presence was captivating, almost hypnotic.
"Thanks... I'll be out in a minute." Josephine said, a hint of dismissal in her tone.
Blood Eye bowed again and quietly exited the room, closing the door behind her.
"What should I do with you?" Josephine's voice was a soft whisper. She reached out, her fingers hovering just above the egg's surface. A faint warmth emanated from it, a feeling of deep connection that she couldn't explain.
