Chapter 96 - Please

'Such strong Killing Intent…' Matilda thought, her face completely pale.

'How can someone exude such dense killing intent?' Falkor, who sat beside the figure, was drenched in sweat.

'How strong is his celestial energy?! His killing intent is too huge!!' Austin thought, frozen in his seat.

Everyone in the hall was completely paralyzed, even Brittney was trembling on the stage. She was standing in front of Sunny, and it felt as though she were between two ancient beasts, ready to swallow her whole.

{First Bloodline: Fenrir; An ancient beast born from the fear and blood of others... Its strength alone could destroy a planet. Fenrir was a terrifying and powerful entity, and once this entity was unleashed, the sea would turn crimson by the blood of its enemies.}

{Second Bloodline: Jormungandr; Jormungandr, also known as the World Serpent, is a monstrous sea serpent from ancient times. Like Fenrir, who controlled fears, Jormungandr controlled the whole world… Having the power to cause tidal waves, poison rain, and earthquakes, Jormungandr became one of the three snake Rulers… Feared by all.}

And in this moment, these two beasts had just been unleashed.

BAM!

An unknown force grabbed the lady.

"Huh?!"

She was stunned as she was lifted into the air and dragged all the way to the front of the hall.

"What's… What's happening?!" she yelled, staring at Sunny in horror.

"How dare you insult my daughter?" Sunny asked, his voice so cold she felt a deep shiver run down her spine.

"Dau… Daughter?!!!" she screamed in horror.

"She!! She… She is a princess?!" she asked, the realization dawning on her.

Sunny's eyes turned blood-red as dark energy surrounded the lady, starting at her legs and moving upward to consume her body.

"Help!!" she screamed, but no one dared to say a word. The royal families remained silent; disrespecting a royal family member was a crime punishable by death. It was a known fact, and each one of them would have done the same thing.

"Please!! I didn't know! I didn't know!" she screamed, pleading with Sunny.

Jinx stared at the lady, whose body was already covered by the dark energy. She then turned to the guy who had sat next to her, still frozen and drenched in sweat.

"…...?!"

Jinx turned her head back to Ellen, who remained silent, not saying anything.

'It seems she also went cold? But she helped me and also was the one who asked us to help the captives… If Ellen is wicked, she wouldn't have bothered with us—'

"Dad… Please, stop."

Jinx and everyone in the hall turned to Ellen in surprise.

Sunny looked at her over his shoulder, his eyes still crimson. Seeing his eyes, Josephine knew she couldn't do anything, she just hoped he would listen to Ellen.

"Yes, Dad, don't kill her; she doesn't know," Ellen added. "Please."

Sunny stared at her for a few more seconds, then exhaled, and the glow in his eyes faded away.

BAM!!

The lady dropped to the ground and instantly, she knelt, beginning to plead.

"God wolf! I didn't know! Ignorance is not a crime, please forgive me!"

"I am not the one you should be apologizing to," Sunny said coldly.

"Yes! Yes!" The lady nodded like a lizard and raised her head to Ellen.

"I am sorry, Princess!! I didn't know! I am sorry!"

Ellen slowly nodded her head and then turned to Sunny. "Thank you, Dad."

Sunny nodded at her and said coldly, "Get lost."

The lady quickly nodded her head, stood up, and ran out of the hall without even looking back.

___

High above the sky, two figures, a dragon and an elf, stood with folded arms.

"I was going to interfere," the dragon man said, staring down at the hall's roof.

"Well… It's all taken care of now. Let's continue with our mission," the elf lady said, and flew away.

"Are you sure you sense them here, Fourth Elder?" the man asked, flying after her.

"I sense three deaths here… They must be close. Keep on looking," she said, her gaze sweeping over the city below. "And Seventh Elder… Please don't kill them all, keep one at least," she added, looking at him over her shoulder.

"Yeah, yeah," he answered.

____

[In one of the buildings.]

"We will have to abandon our plan on attacking that lady," Jabez said, staring at the two figures flying in the distance.

"It seems they noticed the Queen's energy… Next time we must be careful," Alastor said, his arms folded on his chest.

"Those two are both Divine rank warriors, we can't defeat them with our current strength… Using our powers will only draw that elf toward our location… What we need to do now is stay low and make sure not to use our powers," Andras said with a frown, while the other two nodded in agreement.

"Let's just focus on how to strengthen the Queen," Jabez stated.

____

[Back to Sunny.]

"900 Trillion! Going once!" Brittney yelled after recovering from the shock.

No one said anything. Matilda had already used almost all her funds, so she backed down. Meanwhile, the dragon and elf nations didn't have that much money to spend, and the same went for the other nations.

"900 trillion going twice!" Brittney continued, her gaze sweeping around the room before she let out a soft sigh.

"Sold!! Congratulations Princess Ellen for buying a Gaia… Do you want to pay now or later?"

"Now," Sunny said, tossing a card to Brittney. Not expecting it, she shakily caught the card and looked at Sunny in confusion.

"Swipe the card."

She nodded, and an attendant quickly walked forward with the machine and handed it to Brittney, who swiftly swiped the card.

[Payment Successful.]

"Coordinates," Sunny requested.

Brittney walked down the stairs with a smile on her face and bent down, showing Sunny the tablet. Well… showing more than the tablet, as her cleavage was in clear view.

"This is the Coordinates," she said with a seductive smile.

'This Bitch!!' Josephine hissed inwardly.

Sunny took his card back and stared at the coordinates. The system's voice then sounded in his head:

{Coordinates Saved.}

He nodded at Brittney, stood up, and looked down at her with a strange expression. "Okay, thanks… If that's all for today, we'll get going," he said, walking towards the exit.

"….....?!"

Brittney was stunned. No man had ever looked at her with such eyes. It wasn't lust, it was… pity.

Jinx, Josephine, and Ellen stood up and followed him, leaving the silent hall behind.
