"Get out you wolfless bitch, you don't belong here and you never will " Amanda my greatest nemesis yells at me in front of the whole class
I try to hold back the tears as my eyes are covered with an ocean of tears threatening to fall
I try to walk away from her as I've been humiliatiled enough But she drags me back by my hair
And I screamed, which gained laughter from my classmates
Infact from my school
Amanda is the daughter of our alpha, which means she has the power to do anything she wants
While me, a nobody from a nobody family and to make matters worse I don't have a wolf,which is kind of terrible because in this pack once you don't have a wolf
They either kill you or banish you to the human world, the punishment depends on the alpha.
Why I'm still alive Is because I've not come of age yet, so it might be that I'm getting my wolf late
And that's why people like Amanda and her friends who got their wolf at 15, look down on me and treat me like I'm a piece of rag.
I'll come of age next 2 months, and since I don't have my wolf yet, I can't find my mate, if I even have one, so there's no one to protect me from people like Amanda, not even my parents
Maybe because I didn't tell them that I was being bullied at school
But there is one person I can rely on in this school
And that's my best friend Naomi, naomi is the daughter of an omega but from another pack, so she can't help me that much
Although she wants to, but sometimes she still stubbornly helps me
" hey Amanda, I thought I told you to leave my bestie alone, I think you want another beating " naomi says and everyone starts whispering and all eyes are on her
Naomi is sort of like a bully, but the only good thing about her is that she bullies bully, we met in pup school and since she stood up for me when I was being bullied,we've been besties since then.
We used to be three, but then a few years ago, our friend jasmine found her mate and he rejected her after cheating on their mate bond and because of the pain she died.
We miss her,although she wasn't the strongest or bravest, she was the kindest and funniest, and because of that naomi and I wish that our mates wouldn't be like hers.
"Naomi, don't worry I'm fine, just ignore her" I say trying to salvage the situation and by situation I mean me stopping naomi from ripping Amanda's hair out.
"You bitch" Amanda says as she trys to slap me but naomi grabs her hand and drops it down fiercely
"If you ever lay your filty hands on her again I'll break your hand" she says
"Please just ignore her let's go " i said as we enter the class
Dylan is the only guy that talks to me, we used to date when we were younger and we were so in sync until I hadn't seen my wolf yet I got worried and unfortunately he got his and found his mate too, Naomi, my best friend, as if the moon goddess wanted to punish me And we had to break up
And honestly the punishment worked because now
" Hi baby, we've missed you" he said to naomi
"We saw not long ago babe" she said
"Well you know how obsessed I am with you,I can't stay away" he said and kiss her face as she giggles
Yep my best friend and ex boyfriend are true mates. So you see my life is terrific.
"So bels how excited are you for your upcoming 18th birthday " Naomi asks
"Excited?" I asked
" yeah, I mean it's not everyday you turn 18 you know" Dylan says
"I'm not excited at all,infact I'm terrified, because if by then I don't get my wolf it's game over for me and you know why" ibsay frustrated
"Why do you say so " Dylan asks
"Are you seriously asking me this, okay since you're pretending like you don't know, let me refresh your memory, if I don't get my wolf by my 18th birthday, it'll turn to my death day because anyone that doesn't get his or her wolf on or before their 18th birthday is either killed or banished to the human world which is the thing as being dead. Depending on the alpha ruling the pack
And you know Amanda's father is the alpha, and me and Amanda aren't besties
And I'm sure she'll tell her dad, to pick the killing option and that would be goodbye Bella from the world , so I'm not exactly hippy happy about it "
I say and they both look at me like I've lost my mind or something.
"Bels, are you serious right now, you sound as if you're prepared for death, you didn't even put up the possibility that your wolf will come out on or before your birthday " Dylan says
"Yeah Bels, I'm a little bit shocked at your outburst and more disappointed at the way you've given up on life" Naomi says.
I look at them and instead of seeing disgust or mockery or even pity in their eyes like the way others in the school does, I see concern and fear for me and I don't know when a tear drops from my eye, I don't know if it's because of pity, pity that I have for myself or the fact that only 2 people that care about me in this world, not even my parents care about me the way these 2 do and as much as its a happy thing, I can't help but feel sad as well.
"I love you guys " I say as I wipe the tear away
"Aww Bels, we love you too " Dylan says and before you know it a growl escapes Naomi's mouth.
"Sorry Bels" she says covering her mouth
"Don't you love me " I ask playfully
"Of course I do, you know Nina, she can be annoying sometimes"
Naomi says and we all laugh

The bell rings for the next period.
"Can't school just be over, I can't wait to graduate"
"Me too" they both say
As we get ready for our next class, Amanda and her goons Come to where we are, arms crossed with her smirked face
"Well, well, well, if it isn't the oldest couple with the latest couple" she says mockery clear in her voice.
"How do you feel wolfless Bella"
" About what over ambitious Amanda" I asked and she scoffs
" how do you feel about your ex boyfriend and lover with your best friend, aren't you a bit jealous" she asked
" well Amanda, it's none of your fucking business how I feel, is it" I asked surprised at my sudden outburst, as if I wasn't done I said
" you know what Amanda, we value your opinion as much as we value a white crayon on a white surface" everyone laughs
" oh I see you have the guts to talk back at me because of your friends are here right? where was your confidence when I was yelling at you earlier today" she asked pushing me
" well Amanda, my mom taught me that, important and valuable people deserve important and valuable speech from me, so now tell me, if I didn't reply you then what makes you think I'll reply you now, you are still of no value and importance to me." I sat as the whole class burst into laughter, some already recording.
"Ahh, how dare you she says as she tries to slap me and this time I hold her hand which gains gasps from everyone including my friends. She pulls her hand back, "how dare you touch me with your filthy wolfless hand" she screams.
" this is the second time you've tried to slap me, the next time you try it, I bet you, you will lose your arm." I say and Dylan and Naomi along with everyone else are shocked and I as well am surprised by my boldness and strength.
" I will make you pay, I promise you that" she says walking away while stomping her feet angrily.
" wow bels, that's the fiercest I've seen you since ever" Naomi said
"yeah bels I'm impressed" Dylan says.
All this while admist all these drama, I didn't know I was being watched by someone.
