I was gasping for breath as I sat up, unable to believe what I just dreamt about.
What the fuck was that?
A shudder raked down my spine and I wrapped my arms around myself while trying to slow my racing heartbeat down, but it was fruitless cause it still continued to pound away, and each time I closed my eyes, it felt like I was being returned to that daunting dream which made no sense to me.
I let out a slow exhale as I got out of the bed to go take a shower. I was relieved that each room here in the slave quarter had personal bathrooms instead of a general one used by everyone.
By the time I was done showering, the dsy had already fully broken and unfortunately, it was time for me to resume my daily tasks. I went to the kitchen and grabbed the tea I'd be serving the princes, and as I went up to their rooms, I kept trying to think of what all that went down last night was about. The sound of those loud roars I heard last night… where were they from?
